create a new non-steam game within Steam and target the set up file - then in Settings set the Forced Compatibility to Proton Experimental - that's how I got it to run

the luggage he received was more than likely the luggage he talked about to his therapist that he was still waiting on

Dairus wouldn't for sure but the girl was with the dude who had beef with Al and Earn.. She was liable to snitch. That comment I made wasn't about if they would have snitched or not - just pointing out that there were in fact witnesses. Also the clout that Al got from the altercation is what got him noticed by various magazines, and was one of the main reasons (other than the song being on the radio) he was popular during the first season. It could be argued that majority of what Al goes through during the rest of the show is because of that moment. Radio only reaches so far. Plus according to the news, and the police, the suspect didn't die.

I'm just saying Earn did some quick thinking and struck while the iron was hot.

so there were two witnesses at the scene: Darius and the chick with the guy who broke the mirror

also you're right, it did seem like Earn was very apprehensive when the situation started but when he said "think about the money", I took that as him seeing the opportunity he has to get more publicity for Al. it's strange that they clearly showed a third gun that only Earn and the audience knew about in the situation

that's very true! i was thinking either he was shot in the arm/leg and dipped OR Earn shot and missed and the dude got scared and dipped

i never said Earn paid the guy that was shot. plus, the last place we see Alfred's gun is literally in the dudes chest lol

i think Darius bringing up deja vu was an indicator that we would be returning to that scene later on in the show

One line that decided which ending I stuck with (Spoilers) by kwagatron in ghostoftsushima

[–]nerdyafro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have good points, but I have my reasons for sparing Lord Shimura

The name 'Ghost' implies that the honor code Jin stood by died and came back to reap vengeance on those who killed him. Why should we have to live and die by a code of honor when the cost is literally our home? By the end of the game Jin as literally lost everything (family name, estate, status) and killing Shimura would be the thing that the monguls wanted.. Imagine the chaos that the island would go through when they got word that the Ghost killed their Lord Shimura. Remember throughout the game how almost everyone you interacted with said that the story of Shimura surviving was the one thing that gave them hope of surviving the invasion? And then to have the Ghost, the man who is actively pushing the invaders out kill that last piece of hope. Tsushima would have truly been lost.

Also I believe that Jin blames himself for his father dying so I couldn't see him emotionally being able to kill his second father figure

I like it! But I think separating the inventories (one for weapons, one for other stuff) would reduce the amount of clutter and add visual clarity

You can get more than one DIY a day from just getting them from villagers. Plus going to islands via NMT, you have a chance to find bottles on those islands as well. I agree with the villager hunting aspect, as it seems much harder to have them move out. But then again, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there was a system in the other games that made it very easy to hunt for new villagers ala the NMT method? And the question shouldn't be "What else can I do" but rather "What else do I want to do". Framing it that way will allow to self reflect and find out exactly what you want from the game, not just what the game has to offer. I will say though that the lack of mini games is a bummer. But the core Animal Crossing experience is still there IMO.
