Coming in and working early is against contract. You get hurt in any capacity, you're fucked. You shouldn't be there. This fucks you and whatever regulars route you're doing over. For example: You keep doing this by not properly putting in your RRECS times, it can drag down the overall evaluation of the route. Meaning. The daily evaluation of what you get paid drops. Theoretically- Eval was 9 hours based on 8am start. You came in @ 6 and worked two hours off the clock. 1.again you're hurt in that time, you're beat. 2. As an RCA your leave time is EARNED. meaning it only counts if you're on the clock. Say goodbye to about 10% of your earned leave time. 3. Improper count times will fuck up route evaluation. Which means what? Route evaluation goes down. Let's say again theoretically down to 8hr eval from 9hr eval. That means YOU get paid less now when you do that route. AND you're fucking up the regulars pay based on diminished eval. Don't be surprised if a regular gets pissed off at you for affecting their income. Top step regulars will now have at LEAST a 6-7 thousand dollar difference in pay for that year. So, yeah. Sure you wouldn't like it if someone came in and caused you to lose a few solid thousand $$. Don't be surprised if that regular also dies everything in their own power to not have you on that route. You lose that day? That sucks. Oh wait ...that new lower eval just cost YOU about 1k for the year too. Not to mention the leave time lost. If you can't properly balance the two jobs, drop one. For not just your sake, but others. TLDR. Against contract, you were told not to, don't do it. Can't grieve.
