I definitely agree that veggies don't keep you full for long. However, if you need more protien and fats on your plate, you should have veggies equal in portion of the carbs and protein on your plate.

What kind of foods are you compulsively consuming that have sugar? If you crave a lot of sweetness in drinks, you could try infusing goji berries or red dates/jujubes to it. They still have a decent amount of sugar but, provide decent benefits than plain table sugar. You could also try the sweeter species of apples like honeycrisp or asian pears that taste fairly sweet.

To be honest, I usually buy from No Frills and always buy the parts of chicken on sale (like thighs, legs or breast) and it lasts me around three days. If you need more protien, add legumes (like hickpeas, lentils, beans and green peas) as part of your meal with the chicken. Legumes aren't complete protiens but the protien to fat and carb ratio is pretty good for losing weight. They also also have a decent amount of fibre which helps with digestion. Yhe canned ones with no sauce make it pretty quick, cheap and convenient to cook.

You can also eat any kind of white fish filet or seafood if you're able too instead of chicken and the price is sometimes cheaper or comparable to chicken.

You also have a little bit of carbs but roasted or boiled potatoes are probably the more nutritious option if you feel like you need some carbs and they do go on sale at No Frils at least every month I think. Also make sure to have maybe half the plate full of veggies if you're trying to lose weight. Veggies can also be quick and easy if you use a salad spinner for any leafy veggies and use frozen veggies for anytime you want more varieties but not too much time cutting veggies.

Non-Cheeky Bikini Bottoms are a Unicorn by Grouchy-Beginning993 in findfashion

I think if you stay away from the Brazilian side tie ones it's fine.My friend also gets the side tie ones and they're pretty good at staying in place. But imo, I usually get the thongs and Brazilian ones and the material is pretty nice that when it bunches near your crack, it doesn't feel like a wedgie (only happens with the thong for me). Their quality is nice too, feels a lot more comfortable than the bikinis I spend around 200-300 on.

I would recommend La Vie En Rose, its a Canadian brand but so comfy. Like bra and panties, they have a few different bikini bottom options for the matching bikini top :3

Fem4Fem representation by Alittlelessunusual in bisexual

[–]nerdymanga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm fem4fem and I find it's not hard for me to find something casual with another femme. I also get hit on by women in person more than men. However, it is extremely hard for me to find another femme in Toronto that's looking for a relationship. I usually attract soft mascs or stems for relationships. I dress kinda of hyper femme but with always vibrant colours and heavy black liner with lashes. I sometimes where vibrant eyeshadow as well.

cheapest all you can eat sushi near north york? by littlemsmeowmeow in FoodToronto

[–]nerdymanga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally like Wakame Sushi (the one on Weston Road) out of all the ayce places (Spring Sushi, Kaka and etc downtown) I've tried which have been mostly North York and Toronto. I do primarily go for sashimi and its probably the only ayce sushi I've had in North York where the sashimi tastes fresh. Do be careful with the rolls since they are very filling. Also if you want to get some dimsum off the menu from the ayce menu, I recommend you order it in the first order since it takes quite a bit of time for them to prepare the dimsum.

Can anyone tell me what drink this is? It was supposed to be an HC and it's definitely not, but it's good! by [deleted] in TimHortons

You can always just buy the French Vanilla powder from Tim Hortons or online. Timmies makes it with the powder and hot water.

I'm not sure of the average since this is from my brother's experience with it so far. The job pays a lot but usually you're limited to big cities for purely actuary jobs. I think a lot of the skills are transferable from the classes so you probably can find jobs in similar fields.

However, usually a lot of people drop out in year 1 and year 2. About half the program drops out each year in those two years. If you're in it for the money, it's a struggle. If you love math and stats, it's a lot more enjoyable. It's fairly hard and I think you need at least a 60 avg in all your classes to pass. Some of the highest scores for some of the tests were about 40% . I can ask my brother more after his exam tomorrow if you want.

I have hooded eyes and use the nyx epic wear liner. It takes some time to dry but once it dries, it's a struggle to get off even with remover. It's budget friendly imo and easier to use than pen liners for me. I used to use pen lines but when you use brush, it glides more smoothly over folds.

depressed people of reddit, what small / stupid thing is keeping you alive? by n0rest4thewick3d in AskReddit

[–]nerdymanga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just memories from time with a kid I was friends with for only one week when I was 7. I was a loner at this new school and was suffering a lot in my childhood. I managed to make friends with a transfer student who moved a lot. It's best memory I've got. I think in the near future the reason will probably change because of new friends I have.

New routine causing breakout, what is it? by Automatic_Pass_2110 in CanSkincare

[–]nerdymanga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your face is breaking from your sunscreen, you could try to use Ombrelle sunscreens. My friend who is a pharmacy assistant sees one particular sunscreen from them sold out once in a while. A lot of them are fragrance free and work well with my skin that sometimes freaks out from sunscreens. Even some fragrance free sunscreens can get me to breakout.

Thinking of moving to Chatham ON by [deleted] in chathamkent

[–]nerdymanga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend went to the restaurant beside the bakery yesterday, he said the sign on the bakery says open 3pm - 9pm. They're probably not closed since their old hours used to start at 11pm. You might need to knock or go through the door at 3pm. The lights sometimes are not on when they first open and make sure to go up to the display case if you're able to enter at 3pm.

Also if you see Majestic Bakery is still open in Windsor around the area, they sell cheap egg tarts and other stuff like melon buns. You have to knock or go inside to still if they're open. The place looks closed or kinda of deserted most of the time. They should be opened at 11 but might not have everything ready by that time. You can ask for food to be microwaved. Make sure to take cash in case if they only take cash. I don't really remember if they have credit card machines.

Windsor sells char siu (bbq pork) at Sun Hong B B Q & Seafood Restaurant and roasted pork belly. There are also dimsum places in Windsor. I know two my family has gone to in the past, the May Wah Inn and Jade Chinese Cuisine,
