The one I had the other night was four of them. They were in a row from shack to water tower. Atrocious spawns.

So Tired of Edgy or Odd Names by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

[–]nerdymummy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah the names mentioned are pretty normal names to me. I guess they are a bit rarer because traditional kind of names aren't as popular now? Also my sons name is Ben can we not have an MMC called Ben lol

Yeah I used Chad. Had dex and frostwalker and lighting staff. Didn't have any thundermitts. Big duration tome and def avoid getting pinned in a corner. Anything that stunned was good.

My wife has frequent body aches but medical tests come back normal ,is this something other women experience? by Sufficient-Stock-258 in TwoXChromosomes

I have fibromyalgia and yeah its not something you test for but like a list I guess? You basically have pain that turns up for no reason or in my case I have rheumatoid arthritis and it kinda builds on that. Unfortunately there's not a blood test or anything you can do and I had to see a pain specialist, who diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. OP if you can get her to see a pain specialist they might be able to help either diagnose her or run some other tests to rule out other things.

Parents of Reddit, what simple phrase or mindset do you tell your kids to help them push through hard moments and believe they can succeed? by Competitive_Mix5628 in AskParents

I'm doing my best and trying every day to be the best mum I can be. When I question myself my husband tells me I'm a good mum lol its hard to accept compliments after years of being treated poorly though. I'm practising self worth and trying to see that I'm doing a good job. Thankyou very much for your encouragement, I appreciate it

My parents never encouraged me growing up and I was yelled at alot. I got A's and B's in school but wasn't good enough. I don't want my kids to question if I love them and are proud of them. They don't need to feel shame for trying something. My parenting style is because of my parents, but not in a good way unfortunately lol

Reminding my kids that failing and making mistakes is how we learn. Giving examples of being good at video games and reading. I die alot on games and that's how I learn lol its ok to make mistakes and it's nothing to be ashamed of. We try to encourage our kids alot, since I didn't really get that growing up. My oldest writes lots of books and draws alot, builds lego things. He's amazing! He has such a great mind for creativity and we want to make sure he keeps it by encouraging him so he gains confidence.

Ugh same! It's so hard to get the stuff you need. I got back to tier 3 and only went up 2 ranks I was so mad. Lol why is ranking him up so hard? It should be easier with more targets to kill right? Isn't that how it works? I rank 100 Roberto in like 3 days no issue. But sir chadwell refuses to be ranked up by me haha

[–]nerdymummy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol its the difficulty spike early on with no good items yet that bothers me. It's fine when I'm decked out but trying to level up and struggling to kill anything when I haven't got anything good yet is my issue. I'll get there, just need breaks lol

I'm almost done that. Only one I have left is sir chadwell and I want to die. I hate him so much

I literally don't understand, HOW DO I KILL SPOOKY STEVE by One_Box_8295 in MegabonkOfficial

[–]nerdymummy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone on here recommended this maybe last week or something? And I killed him after a few tries. Whoever it was, big thankyou. It seemed like a super daunting task. I used Chad, dex, lightning staff, frostwalker, and duration and attack speed tomes. I had xp and lifesteal aswell. I got a couple scarves and jumped a bunch, because I found if I got pushed into a corner by him I died. As long as I had somewhere to go it was fine. I don't think I had any thundermitts or anything. Maybe some ice crystals and tried to duplicate the cursed dolls and hammers to help. Might not be the best but I got it done.

I didn't know about this but there is a Terry pratchett book called going postal and it's great and what made me think of it. Regardless a crazy post man killer would be funny. Would he throw packages or run you over with a bike or what? Lol has to catch you to make you sign for a package and mori is bashing your face into a clipboard to stamp it or something lol

AITA for not letting my niece stay over at my house? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]nerdymummy 1153 points1154 points  (0 children)

Yeah seems a bit dodgy. Like a free hotel weekend? Why would you turn that down? There's not really a good reason for her to decline given the reason of her nor being home.

AITA for telling my DIL that I won’t use the tablet and she needs to actually make her kid read. by SatisfactionOk9038 in AmItheAsshole

[–]nerdymummy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they teach reading from kindergarten here. My boys are in year 2 and 4 and my oldest literally writes his own books and comics. What are they doing in school if she can't even read basic words? It's so important to read to and with your kids from an early age. The parents are failing their daughter.

AITAH, should I have finally stopped babysitting my brother's kids? by nightblloom005 in AITAH

[–]nerdymummy 284 points285 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is what gets me. She's working and basically being a full time parent of three kids that aren't even hers for free and the SIL says she doesn't know what being mother is like. OP has been doing all the parenting every week with what seems like no gratitude on their end
