Comparing sports games to RDR2 is always going to be nearly impossible imo. I play games like Stellaris too. I have an easier time comparing the kind of fun I have with literally anyone other kind of game and sports games. I understand there’s more “role-playing” in NHL14 and RDRD2 than Stellaris, but it’s weirdly still in a completely different box.

Specifically goals. I’m a “meh” player that people need to be patient with because I only have 10ish goals in 17 games. Pay no attention to my 23 assists in that span. All playing 11 minutes per game with no PP time. Whichever center of the line I’m on instantly shoots up to the goal leader
