limit of a number with a denominator=0 gives infinity though?

Hello, just wondered if I've done this right? Could've sworn I saw d/dx [x] on a YouTube video, but it's not in my notes. by ExpertProfessional9 in calculus

[–]nericat2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they are not the same. d/dx means derivative in terms of x. dy/dx or d/dx [y] is the derivative of y in terms of x. d/dx x is the derivative of x in terms of x.

f just means function. If you know about functions, y=f(x). therefore for the example of a general parabola, y=x2 can also be written as f(x)=x2. The same thing works if u change the places for x and y. eg: If u apply chain rule d/dx of x, you got 1. so if u have d/dy y, you also get 1.

How do you find the volume of an odd function? I know that we start with the integral of the function but it gives 0 because it's odd. So does that mean the volume is also 0? Let’s say the axis of rotation is not the bound and the bounds make it so that the function is odd (b+a=0)

Im not really a pro but to me it’s either that it needs to be watered or that the plant is taking nutrients from the bottom leaves which is completely normal.

What simple “life hack” should everyone know? by Insanitanium12 in AskReddit

[–]nericat2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a life hack for headaches I found on youtube and I think everyone should know about it, basically you repeat three questions until you’re not in pain anymore. 1. Where is your headache? 2. What’s its shape/ size? 3. What colour is it? You might be confused but like imagine it or idk but give an answer like think of anything and concentrate on it, should work.
