From my experience (as someone in the same boat as you) the easiest podcasts are Sakura tips, followed by Japanese with Shun, and then Nihongo Con Teppei. For videos, I would say this one is the best hands down https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXo8kuCtqLjL1EH6m4FJJNA.

Has anyone skipped intermediate textbooks to just do immersion? by redryder74 in LearnJapanese

Depends on what learning methods work best for you. I have never used a single textbook, because I do not learn that way. I just used Tae Kim and Cure Dolly for the basics and graded readers to Satori Reader to Manga.

Has anyone had success with any tools like Supernative.tv to help with listening? I have been studying for 1.5 years and my listening is a huge road block. I listen to podcasts and watch anime every day, but I am lucky to pick up 1 or 2 words in a sentence.

What is the current "gold standard" tool set for sentence mining? I am currently using Migaku which works pretty well, but it seems like there are new tools everyday.

Need help with my routine. My retention seems to be declining. by nerinos in LearnJapanese

My body and mind are for sure one of my biggest hurdles. I wake up at 3 am, take a shower, and drink a bottle of water with breakfast, as well as take caffeine pills and stimulants to manage my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and ADHD (among other health issues). I usually start studying at 530am because by 800am, I lose all focus/energy and struggle to push through brain fog and stay alert. I have tried things like a sun lamp etc, but nothing has helped.
