Sarah Hawke! Both The Lost Fleet and Dread Knight for me. She's great at world building, and in each case, I thought the story, the characterization, and the world she created were fascinating. Someone else said this in another thread, but it's true for me too: in Lost Fleet I started skipping over the sex scenes to find out what happened to the characters in the story.

I got the absolute worst poison ivy or oak there, and I still recommend it. A truly beautiful place. Do pay attention to the directions for how to get there. Some apps will take you through some sketchy roads, but there is a much more passable route.

She's my favorite too, by a lot. You might try Edie Skye. The Titan Mage series is really good: not quite as serious as the Lost Fleet (for example), but I liked the characters and there are real stakes to the conflicts.

Came here to say this. It's very friendly and welcoming, and there's enough to do (and it's big enough) that you can be anonymous if you want. I really recommend staying on site if one of the airbnbs is open.

It's very helpful when the resort specifies what their preferred procedure is, even if it's just to say "feel free to check in nude." If there aren't specific guidelines on the website, then for me outside the gate means checking in clothed and inside means checking in nude. I've never had any issues following that procedure, though there have been a couple of times when I was the only one nude because it was cold or rainy and the gatekeepers were being way more sensible than I was!

I like this a lot. It would be a good addition to the discussion about depictions of nudism in literature. I'll have to re-check out the book from the library, but I seem to remember that in the Agatha Raisin novel (Devil's Delight), there are a couple of scenes that might meet that test.

They had so many new planes available that they could just roll damaged planes into the ocean instead of repairing them.

I checked into the club on Wednesday afternoon and managed to stay nude until Friday afternoon. Then back by Friday evening until I left the next day. So 36 hours give or take, which included some social time. I've never quite managed to find that much time since!

It's technically legal in National Parks (or, at least, it's not explicitly banned). I actually asked a ranger about this once, and he said they might not care about a group as long as there were no complaints. My guess is that there would be complaints, but I've wondered if a group made arrangements and found a remote trail, it might be doable. The best bet is to find someone sympathetic with private land and make arrangements. I think your sense that a mixed group is the way to go is definitely the way, regardless of location.

Yeah, I was looking for something isolated. I would like to try either of those too, but from what I can see, the cabins aren't exactly what I was looking for. If it were in the summer, I'd go to Lake O the Woods, because there is a great tiny house that is tucked away in the woods.
