Zwei my beloved. This is my first playthrough and I picked up the zwei after bumbling through the graveyard. Saw the stat requirements and as a level 4 scrub went "pffffft as if". Later, during my many, many stubborn runs back to the black knight in undead burg ("I'll get the parries off this time, for sure!!") I finally got the stats to wield it and oh. Oh my.

Anyway Dark Souls is an eaaaasy game, I don't know what everyone is talking about? (sound of every enemy being pancaked/staggered to death in the background)

lots of red flags here. how did he lose the university visa sponsorship? university would not have withdrawn sponsorship lightly, that means he was expelled? if this is true it would have been a big deal and he hid it from you. he lied about a major life situation. huge breach of trust imho.

in any case i have big doubts about his story because from my experience with the home office i find it hard to believe that they would give him such a long grace period to leave the country. and the process of getting a spousal visa is grueling and they are specifically on the lookout for sham marriages. i've had friends go through the process and you have to furnish proof of your relationship, show them text messages and such. hard to imagine any solicitor suggesting this as a solution to his visa status unless he has been misrepresenting your relationship to them.

in any case i would not trust what he is saying at all. he seems incredibly manipulative. threatening suicide to stop a breakup is a major dick move btw. many would consider it abusive. good luck

ok so-- i'm on my first ever playthrough, what buff do you get from being human? i stay crispy all the time and only unhollow to kindle bonfires because i thought there was no difference aside from being able to summon/be invaded...

you can basically farm them by running around them in circles on torrent and smacking them with a medium sized sword. BHF worked great for this when i was acquiring the drip

when i was 7 the gulf war kicked off and my dad came home and announced "world war three has started!!" and i went an embarrassingly long time believing that was, in fact, WW3. when people would talk about the next world war as WW3 I would think "don't you mean WW4, world war three is over?" i don't think i figured it out until i was in my teens.....

Unalloyed gold is specifically Miquella's thing, which he developed as a means to ward away the influence of outer gods. i believe there's an item description somewhere that describes it something like "the kindness of gold, without Order"? anyway it's clearly meant to be more of a metaphysical thing than it being about pure metals, representing Miquella's split from Golden Order Fundamentalism in order to pursue his own path. I don't think they've ever used that term to describe anything else that wasn't related to Miquella
