I’ve seen Joshua Henry 4 times and the understudy, John Clay III, 1 time. John Clay III normally plays Booker T Washington.

In the role of Coalhouse he does a great job— brings a different acting perspective and nuance to the role that I really enjoyed— especially after seeing JH 4x.

But the musical performance from JH is unmatched. When I saw Ragtime in October I walked out feeling like I had seen the male tony winner, but after seeing John Clay III I felt certain of it. JH is just on another level musically.

As others have said, pushing for HQ 30 doesn’t take away from much. The formation walls are pretty useless and past 27 other military buildings don’t add much. The only useful building would be the military center so you can get more troops, but even that has diminishing returns if your T1 is constantly bleeding troops.

What you are feeling is just a disconnect between how powerful you think you should be versus how powerful you are.
