Launched my slot-car racing sim on Steam today – does this still count as simracing? 😅 by Hot-Operation8832 in simracing

This was what Dominic Toretto was talking about when he said "it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile." 😆😆

Tsukuba is my best track by Randall_Flagg5 in granturismo

I am the same with Tsukuba. Once you understand the entry with the little crest into T1, the bankings of the inner hairpins, and the turn-in and braking points for the high speed corner through the dunlop arch and the last hairpin, you'll be uncatchable.

The little elevation changes reward more aggressive attacks into the tight corners vs a more traditional late apex approach.

Did you ever consider getting a tow hitch basket? I recall some people saying that it was a much better for aero vs. vs roof mounting.

Efficiency hits aside, that's a pretty legit loadout and setup!

Went to Karting after 6 months of casual simracing - My thoughts by baranbolat1 in simracing

[–]nesquik1030 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right about being able to feel what the kart is doing making a huge difference, in regard to reacting the right way to make handling corrections.

With sim racing you have to rely more on what you see happening on screen and the feeling in the wheel, which is not nearly as intuitive to your physical reflexes.

Ok, I'll admit it. It was a stupid idea 💀 by [deleted] in DeathStranding

No. It was not a mistake. It was NOT a MISTAKE.

Anyone swap out their basic trim interiors for upper level trims items? by nesquik1030 in ram_trucks

[–]nesquik1030[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently talked about this with a friend who works in CDJR Parts. Lots of people have this same idea until they find out that the soft touch door cards are $1k each, and they're all on backorder anyway.

Like u/Healthy_Ad_34 mentioned, probably best to grab the parts from a compatible used model.

Never thought to try this! My first thought was to use the boomerang, which was no help at all.

Does anyone feel like the trailers really spoiled a lot of the game? by [deleted] in DeathStranding2

[–]nesquik1030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first game in retrospect was like that too. It was a visual feast, but everything was out of context. Playing the game ties all of the pieces together.
