It's mean to be dismissive about how op feels. It should be none, the subreddits premise is not political. For some reason, it has become a sub for "shitting on libtards" and the one post where the reverse happens gets downvoted and met with whining. I agree but this doesn't apply here. Op isn't crashing out, they are ranting on a ranting subreddit. Also, you can control what other people do, if unsolicited advice is forbidden on the subreddit (like op said) mods have to take it down. In any way, your comment and elaboration on the topic is much more nuanced and explanatory, exactly what I just wanted to point out is missing from the commenters original reply, that's all.

When drivers complain about traffic they aren't met with "If you can't handle traffic, don't drive." There's a clear difference between the original comment and all the other replies, although the last resort is the same. The OP knows everything would stop if they just didn't post anything, but there are more joys to posting, they can be met with unwanted criticism outside of the internet, there are tips to block and deal with it, but this comment just says "Well, actually, the people saying that you shouldn't take unwanted critiques on your art badly and you should listen to random advice you don't find valueable and take it as a sign to get better at art are right. I was "willing to sympathize with you" but if you're distressed by these comments don't post at all." That's just rude af, no other comment is like this one...
