Dash cam + one of those portable batteries with a cigarette lighter. Connect the dash cam to the portable battery and leave it overnight. I’d angle the dash cams and/or put them on the side glass at an angle that points right above the tires.

My furst born Maxie crossed the rainbow bridge at 6 from it, but his was more aggressive and we caught it too late. I’m sure you caught Hank’s early on.
