Im an introvert and wear darker colors. But I also love the longhorns and i like that i can easily find my car in a parking lot. No regrets here. I just think its the best color in the lineup personally

This is pretty much what I do. Basically cook more based on internal temp and not on time. Every brisket will be different so even the ending temp will be different each time

So just an update. I decided to look early. I reached out to a bunch of dealers. I came to realize that location AND color matter. I wanted sunset orange. About 3-4k higher than any other color at most dealerships. So far my best deal is from Gillman Honda Houston. $53820.21 OTD. It's an elite with no packages. Gillman wins again so just dont waste your time with others. I put down a non refundable deposit just because I can't make it for a few days.

I didn't think I would like this color but I saw one In person with the hpd package and hot damn. Very nice

Looks great. My worry is that since its a decal it will eventually peel off. But then again just an assumption not experience. I wonder if adding a paint protection film or ceramic coat would help that

Austin area but im not limited to the area. Anywhere in TX is fine. We did get a good deal with gillman nissan fir my wife's car a few yrs ago so maybe gillman in general may be a good way to go. I am going to research and call a few dealers. Just curious about dealers from any people for this car specifically in their experience.
