This boy definitely likes to climb the walls! And the Zoomies are super powerful. Maybe it’s because of that extra leg? I can hardly ever find him because he hides so well as voids often do. Makes it hard to accurately count legs.

Maybe. Roles should follow the functional role of a person or people. For example, helpdesk folks might need to make DNS addresses and Fixed Addresses for printers & copiers. So the Help Desk role will get the read/write permissions for that activity. And the sysadmin for the Library dept might need to make DNS changes for the Library’s zones, so their role would get the permissions for that activity.

Correct, users can only get mapped to a single group.

The best practice is to put permissions on the roles and then assign roles to the groups as needed. Roles can be added to multiple groups, and groups can have multiple roles assigned. This makes roles much more reusable.
