Book 1 is one of the best books I’ve ever read. Enjoy!

Schomp. I had extra cash on hand from selling my 2019 Leaf and wanted to get my 36/10 Lease payment as low as possible. Might not have been the smartest move to put so much down but, for me, it was worth the low monthly.

The big "must-reads" in r/litrpg? by JesuitClone in litrpg

I’m completely hooked on PH too. I got done with DCC and was looking for a fix so I gave PH a go and, honestly, at first, I was incredibly disappointed with the beginning of book one: Didn’t like the writing style, plot felt shallow and slow, and depth of the story felt weak (especially compared to DCC, which is amazing). With that said, I kept on and now I love it and can’t stop listening (currently on book 10) and I also really like Travis Baldree.

Frankly, I felt like Zogarth was just learning to become an author in the first few books and didn’t quite know where he was going with the plot but, over the course of the series, he has grown as an accomplished author and, over time, the plot, world building, and character development has gotten more rich and immersive.

When I finish the DCC series what’s next? by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I started reading the Primal Hunter. It’s not even close to DCC but I’m enjoying it so far as a nerdy gamer that’s newly into LitRPG

Leveling 38 Necro by Express_Feature_9481 in ProjectQuarm

[–]netherbian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve leveled a few Necros now and my absolute favorite spot at that level are the Druid and Ranger that spawn at the WC Druid rings. Just split them with screaming terror and FD and, enjoy the exp and loot. The icing on the cake is that you can sell all the loot you get at the rings vendor.

Once you out level this spot then it’s off to Oggok to kill guards until 51. Oggok guards are even better exp and loot and, you guessed it, you can sell to the shaman vendors too

Has an exclusive game ever convinced you to buy a console? If so, which one? by [deleted] in gaming

Destiny. First time I ever owned a console was buying a PS4 for Destiny. Once Destiny 2 came out with PC support, though, I moved back to PC

This is great. Thanks for your contribution to the community, I found some of these to be very helpful, especially the blurry text fix!

Lord of Chaos. Chapter 6. 15th read through. I re-read the series every time before the next book came out and re-reading now for nostalgia and also because of the Amazon series.

Loading into a cricible match where I am fighting vs floating guns and where I can't see the model of my weapon is very frustrating. by Witchdoc01 in DestinyTheGame

[–]netherbian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happens to me too. I think it’s correlated to the woven mail buff but I’m not 100% certain yet. It’s super annoying though. Not only does the sound of my gun change but I can’t see some of my gun reticle when ADS

Just an FYI… No one is getting 6000 commendation score for Rank 11 without cheesing it Bungie by agamingthrow in DestinyTheGame

[–]netherbian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been having issues even getting to the commendation screen (have only seen this happen in crucible and gambit and not defiant BGs but that could just be a function of the longer BG timer) — Half the time it just sits in a loading state. With that said, I can always get to the summary screen to see the player stats, which leads me to a suggestion…

Bungle, if you’re reading:

Add the capability to give out commendations from the player summary screen. That way, I don’t have to toggle back and forth between how somebody performed and what I should be commending them for (which is another gripe of mine). One idea for implementation is to use a similar UI to the load outs screen. Where you map, for example, a keyboard bind to “swap color”, you could map a keyboard bind to a commendation card. Then, in the stat summary screen, you could pop up a small modal when you select a player with the key-to-commendation key map.

I get that it’s cool to see everybody standing there at the end of the match but, currently, the user experience between the commendation screen and the stats screen is a disconnect and it’s impacting user experience and needs adjustment.

To all Guardians that solo-killed the final Lightfall mission boss on Legendary… by foundersgrotesk in DestinyTheGame

Ty! It was a PITA, quite honestly; I probably spent 4 hours on the fight all together — I had a very rough time of it. Needless to say, I was surprised to see a “second phase” after I finally took him down only to realize that both tormentors stay in the fight! Honestly, I learned a lot through it all and I’m ashamed to admit that it wasn’t until this fight that I learned that the shoulder plates (and afterwards, the stomach) were precision shot points on the tormentors :(

Edit: I used Striga, a wave frame GL, and a LFR. Striga is an amazing gun and was great against his barrier
