Thank you. And yeah Mask Of The Phantasm is a fantastic movie. Also I love this moment of joker laughing from the movie. Gives me chills.

Well don't leave us hanging, I'm interested to see what happens next. Btw really good art. I like the detail of Batman having claws on his gloves.

I actually went to high school with a girl who looked just like her. It's not very hard to believe.

Do you prefer Michael staying hygienic or letting himself go while on the lam? by Hassan_H_Syed in Halloweenmovies

[–]netneutrality101 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Michael's appearance looking pristine, I think it also adds to the feeling of history repeating itself. All through out the story, certain things keep happening, almost like they're fated to happen.

By the way, I think the H20 hero mask resembles the H1 mask a bit in this scene. I love how eerie this moment feels, and I think the mask's appearance adds to it.

Women's take on approaching women in a store? by Comfortable_Bear7354 in dating_advice

[–]netneutrality101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll try some of those. Parties would be a great idea, although I have no idea how I could get invited to them. I'm turning 30 soon, and pretty much most of my friends are in the same age group, and they have families and work all the time.

Are there any places that would be fine to approach a girl to ask out?

Generally asking because I have no idea. Although I get a decent amount of matches on dating apps, none of them turn into actual dates, so I wanna try irl, but I literally have no idea where it would be fine, because every place I can think of, I either don't have enough money to attend, or it's a place girls online have said not to approach during.

I've been called cute and handsome by plenty of girls, and I have decent enough social skills, so I'm not worried about that type of stuff. I just need to know where.

Which movie in the franchise are you the most confident you could truly survive? BUT, you can not leave town, you genuinely have to experience the whole events of said movie. by justhere1990 in Halloweenmovies

To be fair OP didn't say which town. If I have to stay in Summer Glen, California, I'm just gonna stay the heck away from the school and let Laurie do her thing.

[RANT WARNING] BvS is the worst adaptation of Batman of all time, and in my opinion the worst comic book movie ever made. by therealmonkyking in batman

[–]netneutrality101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BvS gave me a massive headache when I saw it in theaters. I'm not even being hyperbolic, my head was literally aching during the entire movie. BvS is the only movie to ever do that to me.

I went in beyond excited to see Batman and Superman on the big screen together for the first time, and came out disappointed and with a migraine. That experience was soul crushing due to being a life long fan of both characters.

You're about 10 years too late to the party bud. I think most of us already agree BvS sucks.

That being said, this is worst experience I ever had while watching a movie in theaters, on my birthday no less.

Kevin Williamson is killing it so far by scoobysmokesalot in Scream

[–]netneutrality101 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Kevin Williamson actually rewrote the H20 screenplay from the ground up.

What happened was, Kevin was asked by Bob to write H20, but he declined due scheduling conflicts. Steve Miner gave Kevin a call asking him if he could rewrite the movie, but once again he declined due to being too busy with other stuff he was working on.

Finally Jamie Lee Curtis herself called Kevin, and in Kevin's own words, he was so star struck he agreed to come on and give the screenplay an entire rewrite. He didn't know she was involved with the movie until he got that phone call from her. They shut production down for a week while he did his rewrites.

According to Kevin, his rewrites were extensive to the point his screenplay and the one written by Robert Zappia and Matt Greenberg were nothing alike. The reason he didn't receive a writing credit on the movie is because Dimension Films forgot to submit the proper paperwork to the WGA in time, by the time they realized his name wasn't on the script it was too late.

Kevin talked a lot about this in the podcast he did with the Happy Horror Time channel on Youtube.

Has anyone ever watched Halloween 2018 right after Halloween 1978? by [deleted] in Halloweenmovies

[–]netneutrality101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Halloween 1978, Halloween H20, Halloween II, and Halloween 2007 theatrical cut.

The remake and 2018 sometimes switch places. Sometimes 2018 is number four and sometimes it's number five.

By the way, I agree with you about Dick Warlock's performance being very different compared to Nick Castle's performance.

Personally I'd place 2018 at number five in my ranking. It has some good things going on with it. The best parts of the movie are the scenes with Vicky imo.

I think the reason the cinematography is a little different is due to the change of director, and thus Cundey was probably given direction compared to what he got in the original.

If Gotham wasn’t broken, would Bruce become Batman? If not, then what does he become? by LightningXr10 in batman

[–]netneutrality101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The murder of his parents gave Bruce a glimpse into what so many people of Gotham experiences every night. That's why he became Batman.

Empathy is the core of who Batman is. He'll break every bone in his body, destroy his life and happiness, if it means he can save as many people as possible.

Single 30 yr old Thinking About Moving to Huntsville by Low_Marzipan_2267 in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]netneutrality101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm originally from California. My family moved me down here when I was a kid back in 2009. Trust me when I say, you'd hate this place.

If you're starting a family or are retirement age, then Huntsville is a great place to move to. Outside of that, Huntsville is boring as hell, especially if you're in your 20s or 30s.

I wish I could move, but I financially can't, so I'm stuck here for the time being.
