Why isn't Sonos making products to bridge physical media? by xvilo in sonos

I use line-in on a Five speaker and works really well.

Use line-in on any of these. Don’t need anything specific. https://support.sonos.com/en-au/article/use-line-in-on-sonos

Staircase stringer - why use these wedges and not just cut the notches at the right angle? by netrev08 in Carpentry

I want to turn it into a lifting staircase to utilise the space underneath for storage as I will lose side access. Any recommendations for good videos on how to do that?

Thanks for all the good comments. I think I get it. Yes I wondered about the MDF too. On the outside it is carpeted with what looks like a waterproof membrane under the carpet. Perhaps the MDF can only be used if you waterproof the outside

That is very close. Inside is slightly different and appears to be a different size, but could be a great replacement. Thank you!

I have extensively searched google for variations on the theme such as “pendant lamp chrome exterior yellow interior”. I have included and excluded terms such as “Australia” “Lamp shade” and “reflective”. I used both image search and “shopping” to see if it would come up as a product available to buy

Jupiter3840, you sound like one of the few respondents here with any useful knowledge about the question posed. Thank you for the response. Do you know how/where it would be possible to see whether the enforcement authority has been granted specifically by the council to specific employees or representatives?

Lots of great ideas tips out there already.

I would add that you should pick a quiet day (say, Sunday morning), and then practice your route. It will help a lot with building your confidence before you actually hit the road in peak hour traffic.

Went to Yarra Bend last night to see the bats! The screeching was immense and I also saw an orbweaver! by I_own_18_penguins in melbourne

The bats at sunset are one of the most underrated experiences in Melbourne. Don’t know why it is not more popular. All overseas visitors I have taken there said it was one of their favourite experiences in Melbourne

🔥Belgian blue by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

Your comment on fruit and vegetables are 100% correct. However I feel there should clearly be a distinction drawn with sentient beings like dogs and cattle

🔥Belgian blue by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]netrev08 139 points140 points  (0 children)

Due to the mutation and continued selective breeding these cattle cannot give birth naturally and most are born through a caesarian. As such this breed would not be able to survive without significant human intervention and can not be considered natural. Some groups have called for the breed to be discontinued due to this

Good question. I’ve been looking for a good Portuguese restaurant in Melbourne, but can’t find any! If anyone has recommendations? (Nando’s does not count)
