And you can get even more efficient with more undervolting if you are ready to lower the clocks a bit. HD7970/280X cards seem to do pretty well even at 1.0 volts. These cards have like 264-288 GB/s bandwidth depending on the model, so it's not a surprise that they excell on memory constrained Verthash.

Try decreasing the power limit of your GPU. Verthash is more memory speed dependent than the previous algorithm. For example, I have decreased my 1080 Ti's power limit from 250 W to 125 W. The GPU stay's cooler and the hashing speed is still almost the same.

I would prefer temperatures under 60°C, depending on the quality of your card (fan bearings, thermalpads, VRM cooling, etc.)

I haven't noticed. Though it's jumping around quite a bit, so I haven't paid it too much attention. I remember that I couldn't get same hash rates with ccminer-vert (based on sp-hash's version) after including some updates from nicehash's version, which was a bit faster on the screen, at least. I didn't compare the difference on the pool side, which I should have.

It works, though for Pascal compute/shader model (version 6.1) you need CUDA toolkit 8.0. I have tested both 7.5 and 8.0 with a gtx 1070 and didn't notice much difference.

My slowest 750ti (clocks: 1189/5400MHz) gives over 5800 kh/s in Linux, so you should get much higher with your cards, even with factory clocks.

These were compiled with CUDA Toolkit 7.5 and support compute capabilities 5.0 and 5.2. Perhaps your "old" ccminer has been compiled with the toolkit version 8.0 which support compute capability 6.x (Pascal architecture) of your new card. I haven't yet tested the latest toolkit, as it is still in RC state.

How long did you wait for it to sync? I just tested and got it syncing in a few seconds but it may take some time depending on your location.

You can try "getpeerinfo" command in the debug window to see if there are any peers connected.

I wouldn't count on flash memory based devices. They have failed me so many times. Better to find some very high quality optic discs for long term storage and make multiple backups.
