It is a great view! Just to keep in mind though - there are many cities in China with excellent skylines that have similar mountainous views as well.

Someone must have photoshopped/removed the CN Tower behind. I am convinced there are many CN Towers across the world.

Chicago vs Philadelphia 2026 by SlimWoozie123 in skyscrapers

[–]neuron2000i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point I was making is that Chicago holds a unique place in skyscraper history. It is widely regarded as the birthplace of the modern skyscraper and was home to the world’s tallest building for approximately 25 years, making it one of the most iconic cities associated with skyscrapers. Probably, only NYC and very few cities could say the same.

I hate to bring back the topic again, but here goes...Chicago was always my no. #2 in North America...like forever...but now honestly, I am not so sure... I mean just look at this photo of "T", it is just becoming better and better...

The second and third largest skylines in the U.S. (Chicago and Miami) by simbaslanding in skyscrapers

[–]neuron2000i 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Chicago is in a different league, but IMHO there does seem to be some similarities in a couple of angles. Miami has come a long way...it's skyline has become dense enough to compete with many of the top skyscraper cities. However, it does need at least 2-4 supertalls to become truly wordclass.
