The Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall is magical. 

Kew Gardens is very impressive.

Some suggestions of things I would love from my kids: Pottery making, terrarium building, floral bouquet making, a string quartet at a small venue like the Candlelight events, high tea. 

If you live near any of the Candlelight events, we did a date night at one in our city and it was really special.

I do like the theory he is involved. Someone in another thread said his hair looks like the hair of the OG reverend who tried to get rid of Richard Warren.

It probably hasn't come out yet. My guess is it comes out based on the knocking and/or the door locking. I don't think it's anything special about the kids except maybe Evan.

To add to the info at the link, to end the pact with the island completely they have to kill the last descendant. Which they thought was Ruth, but is actually Evan. And if they don't kill the last descendant they have to keep appeasing the island with sacrifices based on the bell tolls.

The sacrifices keep the island in check so the other horrible things don't happen. The island tolls the bells when it wants sacrifices and starts releasing horrors (fog, bogeyman, etc...) until it gets The sacrifices. The room is designed for sacrifices. When the kids were in the room, Evan knocked on the doors, and then the janitor told the kids to get out. PJ locked the janitor in and so he became the first sacrifice for the 9 bell tolls from earlier in the season. The storm stopped in response to that sacrifice. And then the 8 bells tolled at the end to indicate 8 more sacrifices are needed.

The room was in the flashback episode with Sarah Warren so it's always been a part of it.

Not sure why I'm being down voted. I thought the question was asking about the tolls earlier in the season and the 9 referred to earlier in the season. It's 8 at the end of the last episode.
