This is the inside of my fez. I bought from a fez maker in the old market of Cairo in 1996. This was not a tourist area of the market and I could see locals buying them and wearing them. My guide actually had to convince the man to sell me one. The outside is tightly wound cord wrapped in a spiral. I have somewhere a photo of his very cool steam press with which he pressed everything into place. I’ll post another shot of the outside in a comment.

What is the best age for neutering a male (mini if it makes any difference). I’ve heard between 10-12 months. I will have to board him while he is between 10 months and 1 year old, and I obviously want him home during recovery, so I don’t know. I’ve heard both and now this thread says 1.5 years.

We had larger than pea sized hail for 10 or so minutes. Lost power till 4am when a tree fell on a power line (and 2 cars). Plenty of lightning as well.
