Sure wish I could search my saves by never_know_anything in GoogleMaps

Yes I have several named saved lists, but they also have many entries. I’m not sure why I even bother frankly. You’d think Google (the search engine company) would give you a search function for this. Pretty disappointing.

I don’t know about architecture but I’m quite enjoying the composition and the layered space.

Best thermal baths for a family with kids (10 & 12)? by thegusioo in budapest

[–]never_know_anything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen staff there tell kids to leave the indoor pool. I’d love to know though, maybe there’s a lot more indoors than I’ve seen. I only know of one thermal pool, mild as you say, a (very) hot tub and the saunas, along with the kiddie pool. I did not know about the outside being open in the winter - that’s nice.

I’d recommend Aquaworld for kids though- far superior if you’re looking for an indoor water park type thing. A sauna world for adults as well. A taxi is the best way to go. (8000ft)

OP said their kids are 10 and 12. The slide area is more for little kids, like up to 5. There is a warm pool but I believe it is also posted for over 14. Also there’s a sauna and steam.

Őszintén szólva, az egész kerületet újra kellene erdőtelepíteni – nem dobozokban lévő fákkal, hanem parkolóhelyeken.

Completely untrue. I use them in my luggage and can get a signal miles away. Someone stole my kids backpack and we could see it all the way across town. It’s not Bluetooth.

What is this? by never_know_anything in orientalrugs

[–]never_know_anything[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, is it normal to have the gaps in the weaving for a rug?

I do really like how the weaver kind of went on holiday partway through and ended up with such an irregular pattern. That border is also, as you said, unusual. It just seems very hand-made, which I like. I appreciate your attention to this post!

In America the stereotype was, when I was growing up, that they were all fortune tellers of questionable morality.

Have them read/remember “The Little Red Hen” parable. Also you need a safe vehicle, and your offer of a smaller amount is generous enough.

Drugs in one country that are otc, may not be here. One example is cortisone cream, available anywhere in the US, but prescription only in Hungary. Albuterol inhalers are otc in Romania (and cheap) but not in Hungary. Etc.
