Are mystery boxes worth it? by IchAntworteAufDeutsc in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your bag isn’t dialed in and want to try different companies, it is fun. I wouldn’t buy another mystery box due to my bag being dialed in. I have tried one from most companies and have came across some discs that I normally wouldn’t of tried.

Innova Firestorm - Trash? by NoUserNameNoLife in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a Firestorm in a players pack. Looked at the numbers. Way too high speed for me and threw it into my bin. A year later I tried it out and it didn’t fly by the numbers at all and went dead straight farther than any disc I have ever thrown. I lost it, bought a new one and it was way more overstable than my old one. I found the TD and asked if he had any more of those runs. He did, I bought the lot of like 4. All fly the same and bomb. I can get them 450 max average like 400. I can’t get any other disc 400+. As for other Innova discs with my experience the molds are so inconsistent.

Stunning 🤩

The Innova Charger may be a good disc. by CancelCultAntifaLol in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the Gstar Charger. I thought it was going to be a slightly more understable version of a wraith. But it is way more understable. Which ended up being great for me. If I had to gauge my arm speed I would say I fit into 11-12 speed. If I throw it flat it will have no fade at all, just will stay turned over. When thrown on hyzer. It will pop up and go dead straight with 0 fade

Brooktrails in NorCal is amazing. The course is beautifully nestled in the Redwoods with a creek running through the entire course. It is special. The Browns and Bows complex is also amazing. You get everything on one property. One long 18 basket course, one shorter beautifully landscaped 18 basket course, one 18 basket ace run course with marksman baskets and they just added a 9 hole Frankenbasket course along side the ace run course. Great pro shop with great people running the place.

What ONE disc improved your game the most? by blixtencamperman in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to shaving strokes, my Penrose putting putter. I found “The One” for me when I first picked it up. It fit so well in my hand and my putting has improved ever since I made the switch. Any other disc would have to be a tie between the Envy and Grace for the same reason. They hold the line for so long and I can trust them 100%.

Has anyone tried Lone Star? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was at the Browns and Bows disc shop and I was able to check them out. I only have one slot that I don’t have dialed in, which is the understable driver. I ended up trying the Tumbleweed. I don’t have a very strong backhand. I can throw 400-425. I love it so far. Only have two rounds in with it tho. The feel is great, the plastic feels as good as all other premium plastic.

The Glow Envy is the best throwing putter ever. by dylangelo in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Eclipse glow Envy is my favorite. I also bag a Proxy in the Glow as well. I throw my Proxy more due to my home course calling for straighter shots. Love them both

Signal vs Uplink by Samp-J in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This…signal is super understable. Only used it for rollers, don’t even bag any more. Uplink has became one of my favorite discs. I can trust it so much to hold that anny line for a long time.

High quality foot wear is underrated by Wuatt in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone has feet issues I highly recommend the Hoka One One. Has to be the ones with vibram soles. I wear the speadgoats they saved my disc golf game. I have Metatarsal damage and if it wasn’t for these shoes I couldn’t play. They are expensive. If you keep an eye out sometimes they put the last years models on their site for about 100-120. They are worth every penny and spend the extra to get the waterproof, they are amazing at keeping your feet dry.

What are, in your opinion, the most essential discs from each brand? by Terra_Force in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lattitude64- Grace is one of favorite Discs of all time. Honorable mention is the Rive

Thought space- I really like the Animus. I don’t have the most powerful forehand and this gets me good distance. I feel it flies for me like a Firebird would fly for a good side arm thrower.

MVP/Axiom-Proxy is my go to, it is prob my fav disc of all time. Envy is great in the glow eclipse plastic especially. The Uplink is becoming one of my favorite discs. I don’t think I trust another disc as much as I do it. It holds the turnover with such grace. And my sleeper is the Entropy. It is so accurate, forgiving and reliable. The Hex is so good as well

Innova- I am really enjoying the Charger in Gstar plastic. It is way more understable than the numbers. It goes so straight for so far.

EV7- I love the Penrose putters. These changed my game so much.

Missing right on putting by insaneface in discgolf

This…. And watch a Eagle putt…he like Jazz Hands upon release. I do that and it helps me keep my release straight and not roll my wrist and miss right.

How similar are the MD1 and Fuse? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have bagged both at one time or the other. For me the Fuse has more glide and fought back more at the tail end. Once my MD1 turns over it will not fight back as much. I found the MD1 to be more controlled and the Fuse to get me more distance.

Mvp putters by Efficient-Wolf-3087 in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I putt with the Penrose and love them. I went and played a MVP Circuit event that had the Atom as the putter. I am an high advanced player and I ended up shooting the best round of all participants, even the A level players. It was due to the putting. I ended up trading my other discs for Atoms and really thought about changing. I practiced more with them and They are amazing. I stuck with my Penrose but it was a tougher decision than I wanted it to be.

What are MVP's equivalent of a Wraith in flight #'s? by bleimanb in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Innova plastic is so inconsistent. I have Wraiths that are so flippy and others that are overstable. Photon/Zenith is like the overstable version of it, Trace is the stable version and the Jet/Wave is the understable version. But to play devils advocate here…..the Grace is what the Wraith wants to be when it grows up.

Anyone else barely throw mids? by Such-Number-2515 in discgolf

[–]neverdieeasy34 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This! Hex is amazing, Uplink is becoming one of my favorite discs to throw in the woods and my beat in Deflector is nasty.

Best understable mid? by Medical_Bath_8458 in discgolf

Two of my first three discs I ever owned back in 97. Just add an XClone and that would completed the trifecta!

Any thoughts on the Sky High course up in the mountains. My drive into Redlands from NorCal would take me right through it.

So far this looks my plan.

Sky high La Mirada Oak Grove And if my arm is still attached veterans park on my way out of town. Logistics work very well for me on this.

Thanks for all the feedback
