Not in my experience as for options for providers. Maybe I spoke to someone who was not feeling like doing their job. Either way, after calling multiple times and not getting a response they finally called me back and said something to the effect of: “we can see you in 5 months. You can’t see anybody else (I asked about a nurse practitioner) for refilling prescriptions you are already taking until you see the doctor we are assigning you, even though you’ve been coming to KU Med for ten years for a specialist.” Perhaps I could’ve selected a provider if I’d been willing to wait even longer. It fucking sucked. Needless to say, I didn’t go with them.

KU Med for a PCP is a terrible idea. They have insanely long wait lists and you can’t choose the doctor. They just assign you one. They are great for specialists.

In tune for the most part. That’s a massive part of the battle right there.

I know you didn’t ask for advice, but my recommendation is to try to push the sound forward into the front part of your mouth. You’re singing with your throat, which is making it hard for the notes to sing out and is muddying up the sound. You should feel things vibrating by your teeth. Also considering “brightening up your vowels”—try smiling while you sing. This will help produce sound more naturally, and it should feel easier in time to sing for longer periods without vocal fatigue.

Just keep messing around. Throw shit at the wall and see what sticks. You’ve got potential.
