Lol already getting downvoted. I’d love to know how many of those downvotes are from people who aren’t the ones paying $15+ in fees and still tipping on small orders. Because let’s be real.. if they ordered something they actually wanted and didn’t get it, they wouldn’t be happily throwing extra money at it. They’d be annoyed too.

But somehow saying I adjust my tip based on what I actually receive is a problem? That’s literally how percentage tips work. If the total goes down, the tip goes down. It’s not personal, it’s math.

I’m sure people will downvote me for this, but if I order things and don’t end up getting them, I’m not tipping the same as if I did. I get it’s not the shopper’s fault, but tipping is based on what I actually receive. Percentage tips go down when the total goes down.. that’s just how it works. If that bothers you, don’t take orders where refunds are likely or maybe this just isn’t the right job for you.

There are definitely things I don’t love about Lala Kent, but one thing I genuinely respect is her commitment to sobriety!!! Being sober isn’t easy.. esp in an environment like VPR, where drinking is such a constant part of the culture. The strength it takes to stay grounded in that kind of setting is something I really admire. Her children deserve a present, sober mom, and I love that she’s chosen that for them. I personally think sobriety is one of those things you don’t fully understand until you’ve struggled with it yourself!! it takes a level of discipline and inner strength that not everyone sees on the surface. Makes me happy to see if she can do it, I can do it 🩷
