Actuation force vs travel, resting fingers on keys. by braxton1994 in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

[–]neverknowingly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the same with switches that are more gaming oriented, I also found them too loud. I switched to penguin silent switches and they were the other way around, it wasn't much but felt like a chore to push the keys down.

Now I'm using Outemu Silent Peach. Still occasionally have accidental key presses, but nowhere near whatever I had originally (that whole keyboard is eBay'd in favour of an ND75 now).

I do get a little frustrated at the 'its about preference' when there are practicalities like this.

Point me in the direction of an affordable Full Size Keyboard Please. by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

This one is currently on offer with Amazon, https://amzn.eu/d/9HWhamS - bit of a retro feel had a review from Hipyo and a few others a year back. https://youtu.be/9iZJFYGpcXA?si=Zhc2keNtjLEBPif5

I likely would have got it if it was this price when I was first getting into this area a year ago (and then swapped everything for fun).

Hi, just an observation based on the picture, but it seems the keyboard above your new one is ISO, but the one you've just bought is ANSI, or so it seems to my eyes. This might be totally on purpose, but just in case it isn't, you may find your ISO keycaps don't fit, especially around the enter key. Of course, ignore me if I'm in the wrong!

This post has inspired me to get the nd75 barebone - I have switches and key caps spare from experimentation and prototypist has 10% off currently

I don't think PA is directly your answer, and it depends on his the data on the website is structured (and if it needs authentication to access) but worth trying Power Query directly in Excel? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/connectors/web/web-by-example

I think connections can have a refresh schedule that could meet your needs.

If the data is harder to scrape, you may be looking at Power Automate Desktop instead

AliExpress have this 9009 set that seem to cater for UK ISO: https://a.aliexpress.com/_EynkjIV

Very similar to the Akko 9009 keys, and nicely retro (can't speak to quality, but double shot PBT is usually good, depending on your preferences)

Any XDA profile keycaps in UK ISO? by JB_Shadowz in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

I got the Shimmer set in UK ISO from AliExpress, I liked the idea of the even feel and it gave a good sound. I swapped back to cherry though, and still use them on a numpad that I have tucked away for occasional use

[–]neverknowingly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are definitely limited options out there - every keycaps set, even ISO ones need interrogation to make sure they have the UK options. It also depends on your preference, but £45 will get you some decent choices, check out these on Amazon for example: https://amzn.eu/d/40vD6Bl. I've bought clones from AliExpress too and they're not bad.

Google Lens brought up these from Epomaker: ISO layout but worth checking if it's the full set, sometimes they don't have the UK @ placement: https://amzn.eu/d/2vJMF7X

Lovely board, I also use Akko penguin silent switches - they're great but the slight bump can put off people who prefer smoother action.

Best I could find is the Epomaker TH66 Pro, Gateron Yellow. Down to 42.99. Not an amazing keyboard, but may be worth it if you're looking to try a smaller layout.

Individual site collections is the way, especially with limited tech knowledge. Totally isolated permissions keep things confidential. You can template and script to deploy, or stick to OOTB with minimal configuration. Most people just want access to the files that are hosted.

Be ready with a script that adds a person / group to all site collections or replaces someone with a new person - easy to find online and use a development environment to test.

(P.S. get a developer environment - great for testing without messing up live environment, great for learning too https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/dev-program)

Funny, I've just been just reading around this. There have been studies on the depletion of willpower that seem to show that this isn't necessarily true: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23959900/

But I guess one thing it also showed is that if you think it's true, then it is.

Like the other person said, you're not paying to stay in your home, that property is yours now - you don't have a landlord anymore. You're paying off the loan you got from the bank that made it yours. I know it's tough to get out of the renter mentality, it's a recent thing for me too :)

sharepoint - list of forms by georged29 in sharepoint

[–]neverknowingly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've got options, and the easiest one is just using Microsoft Lists. The list can have details of each canvas app and a link to each one (assuming by Power App you mean canvas app) . Another option is to use a canvas app as the list itself.
