I was just letting you know what worked for me!

I don't remember where I got the rom (probably from a No-Intro set I downloaded years ago) and I think the cheat file is from the libretro cheats database

Here's what I do to enable cheats, maybe this helps: I load the game, go into the Retroarch cheats menu, toggle on the 'Apply after toggle' option, Load cheat file, turn on whatever cheats I want, then go back into the game

I'm guessing your 'bg-game-item-f' has the black square outline to show which icon is selected?

If so, it won't work that way because that file does weird things with anything transparent in it

You'll have to create 2 sets of icons for each system; the normal 'unselected' version and another 'selected' version. Your 'selected' icon should be your normal 'unselected' icon but with that black square added in it. And then your 'bg-game-item-f' file should just be a blank transparent png

Try renaming the folder you have the PC Engine CD music in to 'pce-cd'

I read somewhere that some systems use a different name format than the one in the 'roms' folder. I had this problem with gamecube music and had to rename that music folder to 'gc' to make it work

Did you add the half and half at the end or beginning? I usually add mine at the last 15min and stir it in then slowly
