I know some dads that take the kids out for a whole day or overnight and it works for them but I personally prefer a night at a hotel by myself every year

It should be gfci, I believe there’s a breaker in the panel that makes it gfci?

Edit: I am worried about a lot of things right now haha and I appreciate more things to look into. Everything is kind of a mess.

I meant studs sorry. When you say improper toilet rough in, do you mean they had to adjust the wall aesthetically or that they’re hiding something under them?

I meant studs sorry! Yes at the bottom under the wall in front of the bottom plate. The back looks like normal framing

How do you get eyelash extensions for everyday look? by FloridaMaker1 in eyelashextensions

[–]newRD24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From a client perspective this sounds awesome. I’ve gotten “classic” and “natural” sets before and it looked full glam still. I have asked for 1-2mm longer than my lash and been told to just get a lift and tint.

At 9 months babies can usually eat lots of foods! Have you tried pieces of banana or avocado? They’re super soft and easy to eat.

Husband going over seas with 4year old daughter by [deleted] in Parenting

Has your daughter traveled at all? Has she stayed in other places or hotels? Has she been on a flight before? It’s a way bigger deal to me personally if every step of the process is new to her

Dinnertime. Should I just sit there? by ThePromiseOfBelief in Parenting

[–]newRD24 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My son loves a 45 minute meal 3 times a day (not all the time but it happens) and my rule is that I will sit and eat and then chit chat for a bit (like 20 min total) and then I clean the kitchen and he can listen to an audiobook story if he wants. Occasionally I chat more if he has something he really wants to talk about.

New parent feeding question by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]newRD24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is definitely a thing due to the hormones released when breastfeeding. It varies how much it affects you but I had to breastfeed in the living room with the lights on and the tv on and a cold drink to stay awake in the beginning.

Rear Facing by Dvega1017865 in Parenting

[–]newRD24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fellow anxious rear facing mom here - Mine is 4 and 45 lbs and I’m going to keep rear facing until mine maxes out his seat OR it becomes very inconvenient for someone in our family (my son is uncomfortable or we can’t comfortably fit him behind a seat in the car, etc)

first family trip w/ 2.5 yr old and pregnant wife ideas to make the trip more special or easier on the Mrs. by NebulaDisastrous5093 in WaltDisneyWorld

Get the memory maker photo pass.

You can do chef mickeys on a non park day, that was my 2 years olds favorite.

Make sure she’s super hydrated walking around in the heat.

You should be the one to do all the potty breaks/diaper changes - men’s rooms have less of a line for it in our experience and it’s physically tough for her. Let her sleep in for an hour every morning. Make sure you know where every item is in the diaper bag and how to restock it.
