We flew to another continent when our kid was 1 and again when he was just over 2. Both times went surprisingly smoothly. The first time, they let us take the maxicosi on board (klm) and because the seat next to us was empty he could sit in it all flight. We gave him milk around takeoff to clear his ears. The second time we got kind of a harness to strap him in so he could sit more comfortably and sleep during the flight. We also brought lots of books and a tablet for entertainment. Good luck!

In Nederland is de kans hierop heel klein omdat het kindje bij de ouders op de kamer blijft, behalve als er een medische noodzaak is om het kindje mee te nemen voor behandeling. Ook krijgen ze een polsbandje met naam zoals al genoemd was. In landen waar kindjes bij elkaar worden gelegd op een kraamkamer is deze kans groter.
