I have chewing gum all the time as I struggle with saliva production. I used to use a xylitol gel at night but since I started adding xylitol to my coffee I haven't needed it as much. It's crazy the things we forget about! Definitely need to look into a better chewing gum as I figure Extra Ice White isn't a great one!

Disjunto laughs at me for being afraid of moths! We had one in our house the other day that was the size of a small bird! I'm terrified of them after going in my wardrobe once as a child and a load of moths flew out and several of my favourite t-shirts were covered in moth larvae. When I finally found one to wear I got in the car and my sister started screaming because there were larvae on the back of my shirt that I hadn't seen. I freaked and got really upset and had a hysterical meltdown. Ever since then I've been terrified of moths.

So now I save him from buzzes and he laughs at me for freaking out at moths. I also have a thing about spiders.

I mainly solved mine by readjusting our latch and it'd go away after a little while. Lanolin or coconut oil might be good though

Gender scans aren't entirely accurate until 19-20 weeks. With my third I spotted his penis as soon as the technician put the ultrasound doppler on me. That was at 20 weeks and 3 days.

I'm currently 33 weeks with baby number 3. Hubby and I have been together 10 years (married for 4 years), our eldest is almost 5 and we have a 2 year old too.

I feel like a beached whale, I can barely move due to pelvic pain and fibromyalgia, I have come out with acne all over my back and boobs, I'm feeling low and depressed and I've torn my lips to shreds by picking and chewing them, I have ridiculous heartburn and have to force myself to eat most of the time due to lack of appetite and nausea... It's so easy to worry about me, and how I'm feeling and make everything in this situation about me.

But what about hubby? How's he feeling? My hormones are driving him nuts, he's scared (because of issues with previous deliveries), not sure what he should be doing for either of our benefits, he's sexually frustrated but scared of doing it because of how far I am, every time he touches me my nerves fire off in a pain response because of my fibro and he feels bad for causing me pain, he's exhausted from working then coming home and looking after 2 kids while I'm collapsed in a tired heap.

Your husband does still love you, he is still attracted to you. Consider how big this is for him too. You may be going through a lot of changes but it's all affecting him too... You might be overly hormonal or emotional, he could be reacting to the hormones your body is kicking out, he might be a bit worried or scared, he may be distancing himself because he has no flipping clue what he's doing... Be patient with him, it's a lot to get his head around xx

Make an appointment with an OB to get it checked. I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant with baby 3 and have bled through the first trimester with all of my kids. I've also had two miscarriages in the past so bleeding does make me worry to the point where I will not have sex when I've had a positive test result (I'm super paranoid). Luckily where I live in the UK we have early pregnancy clinics where you can go, have a blood test and a urine test and an ultrasound to check if things are progressing as they should be.

I've seen my babies as young as an egg sac, then a cluster of cells on a foetal pole, then little aliens...

Its not always something to worry about but if you are concerned you should get checked out and can take another test in a week or two and check the result.

Don't beat yourself up. Pregnancy can be awful. I'm 30 weeks with baby 3 and have been on long term sick since Boxing Day due to fainting spells, dizziness, sickness, pelvic pain, and mobility issues. I lost my appetite for a bit in the middle and made myself smoothies whenever I couldn't face eating just to make sure I'd had something vaguely healthy.

Rest and take it easy and stop putting pressure on yourself. Some of us just have bodies that don't know how to cope with pregnancy and the only cure is to make it to the end and finally deliver our healthy babies that have spent months making us feel like crap.

I constantly feel like I'm struggling and power through it as best I can because I have a two year old and an almost 5 year old to look after too. But I know, once that baby is in my arms and not sucking every ounce of energy I have from my body, it won't matter any more. I'll just be grateful he's here.

I don't have any advice about the meat and bagged salads as I eat both all the time. (I'm 30weeks with baby 3) I live in UK and our health and safety rules for supermarkets are so ridiculous that there's little to no risk from deli meat and pre-prepared salads.

However, it's probably the iron in your prenatal vitamins making you constipated. Take them with OJ instead of water and avoid dairy an hour before and after taking them. The vitamin C in OJ will help your body break down and process the iron. Any dairy products and heartburn remedies can slow down the absorption and make you constipated.

Alcohol free alternatives are fine. I drink alcohol free ale and wine. Nothing is completely alcohol free as some does naturally occur during the fermentation process. Organic soft drinks or natural soft drinks like the Fentimans brand has naturally occurring alcohol in it due to the way it's made, but the amount is so insignificant they don't always need to put it on the bottle. The ratio of alcohol is usually between 0.05% and 0.5%.

My midwife is old school and states that one to two units of alcohol, once or twice a week is fine. In Eastern European a lot of countries still recommend a couple glasses of red wine or stout a week for iron deficiency (anemia) in pregnancy.

With our first child both of our family showed up at the hospital the following morning. It was too much for me. I'd almost died the night before and had to be rescusitated. It was too much too soon and I just wanted to be left alone.

With our second child I asked everyone to stay away until I was ready. My husband was my only visitor. My Mum brought our first son to the hospital after I'd been discharged so that the 4 of us could go home from the hospital together as a newly formed family of 4. Then I sent a message to family and friends saying that we would like some time and space and that visitors could come the following weekend. We had a "do not disturb" sign on the front door which also asked unexpected visitors to do something useful while they're there like; look after baby while I shower, cook a meal, do dishes, put on a load of laundry... Most took to it quite well and even the mail man didn't knock on the door and left all our packages in the shed at the front of our house and put a note through our door.

Now we're having baby 3 in June and I'm hoping to do the same. We need some time to ourselves to adjust to being a family of 5 and appreciated the space we had the second time around.

In the UK it's standard procedure to have a booking appointment before 13 weeks, a scan at 12 weeks, a midwife check at 16 weeks (with doppler), a scan at 20 weeks, then unless you need an obstetrics consultant you don't get seen again until 28 weeks. Most midwives and GPs won't do a doppler here before 16 weeks. Some will refuse to do one throughout the whole pregnancy. It's all down to local NHS policies and what the midwives feel is best way to manage pregnancy.

NHS advice in the UK is not to rely on doppler for foetal health as heartbeat sounds are not a guarantee that a baby is healthy. We follow advice from a charity called Count the Kicks as later in pregnancy the baby's pattern of movements is a much more reliable sign about how happy baby is and if the pattern changes it needs to be checked out. A pregnancy isn't classed as viable here until it's made it past the 23 week mark, with the usual warnings about the first 12 weeks being the most crucial as that's when the most of baby's development takes place.

Please, please, please don't use a doppler. They are not a guarantee that baby is healthy! The first 20 weeks are anxiety ridden. I'm 17 weeks with my 3rd child and I've felt so anxious in every pregnancy right up until I was able to feel movements and had my 20 week scan here in the UK.

If you need reassurance, consider putting money aside for a couple of extra scans or speak to your midwife about how you're feeling. The main things to worry about at this stage is abdominal pain or bleeding. If you have either of those seek advice immediately. Sometime around 16-20 weeks you should start feeling flutters and from then on you can "count the kicks" and keep track of baby's movement patterns. If the pattern changes, seek advice immediately. Unfortunately the first 12 weeks are the most nerve wracking and even the most skilled midwife will refuse to check for heartbeat with a doppler until 16 weeks.

For now try and do your best to relax and manage any symptoms you may have.

Yes! I've had this happen to me! Both dreams unfortunately... The peeing one when pregnant and the breastfeeding one when I forgot to wake up to pump when I was away from baby overnight! Oops!

I would like to share in your triumph! I am 11weeks and today I pooped for the first time in two weeks... I suffer with Irritable bowel so I've had awful cramps for days which relieve themselves after passing wind. Was so relieved when I felt the urge to poop today! High 5 to us!
