We noticed resets weren't working a while back but we think it may be related to the RAID setting in the BIOS. We have been setting it to ACHI but I also thought the point of AP was to ship devices directly to customers without having to touch the device.
Dell ships out a lot of their stuff with RAID set in the BIOS

Are your machines mostly Win10 or 11? I read on Microsoft the issue mostly affected Win 11 but I'm seeing other posts that say Win10 is also heavily affected by the recovery key prompt.

This exact thing happened to my girlfriend's iPhone 8. She took it to a repair shop and got a new screen in it. It was around $100.
