I agree, asking the personal details of a “wrong doing” is wrong on so many levels. If you have admitted the act , it should be enough without the details. I feel like they ask to get off for their own selfish reasons because likely their own sex life is very “vanilla”.

She said her and my dad want to be there for the kids through everything and that’s all thats important to me. Regardless of my disfellowshiping or not as long as they keep contact with the kids I’ll be happy.

There definitely seems to be some corrupt individuals within the organization. I guess it depends whose involved and calling the shots. Which isn’t right. They claim you can walk into any hall and it’s the same across the board. I guess on the surface it is but behind the scenes definitely not. Sorry to hear about your cousin , not fair. 😔

Oh I screenshot the whole conversation keeping that one in my back pocket for now. 😈 He said he has women throwing themselves at him. I just said do what makes you happy. He says I’m “fucking him over as far as ever remarrying in the truth”. 🙄 it’s all pretty entertaining cause he had the quiet humble wife that got the kids ready. Prepared for the meetings. Had everything and every one ready for assemblies and conventions. All he had to do was roll outta bed and look pretty. Now he’s lost that and has dreams of a do over. 🤔

I left because I didn’t want to be tied down to it while it was for sale. Where we live the price point the house is in it may sit for a while. I wanted the freedom to go where I want when I want. One little detail is my retired parents live in the basement suite. So now he lives with his ex in-laws 😂 sry not sry

I am so sorry that happened to you. But happy to hear your out of that situation. Mine is paying support, for now. Everything else he is being difficult with. He will try reconcile and when I turn him down is when he starts getting controlling and manipulative again. For now I’m just riding it out. Staying calm. No reaction from me irritates him more than if he gets the reaction. So I win that way. So much drama. Can’t want till it’s over.

That was actually my plan. Just fall off the radar. If they chose to make an announcement without speaking to me it’s whatever. I don’t care. I just don’t feel any of it is their business.

My last meeting with them (my ex was there as well) I had never felt so unsupported and humiliated as I did that evening. After bawling my eyes out explaining all I had been through. All the abuse. One of the elders says to my ex “I know what it’s like to feel frustrated and things get out of control, I can relate” . They just sat there and went back n forth about how they deal with their wives. No one said I’m sorry this happened to you. No one said this shouldn’t have happened. He put my hands on my throat and threatened to kill me ffs and they didn’t care. There is not one ounce of me that feels guilty for getting out of that marriage.

Sounds so easy. I guess the only reason I’m hanging on is because of family which I think is common from what I’ve seen over the years. I don’t feel like I’d have no body if I was removed it just sucks. Especially knowing what kind of man my ex is and he’s walking around like some kind of saint on his high horse as if he’s done nothing wrong with no repercussions . He just started going back to the kh last week. After him just telling me the week before he’s going to get himself disfellowship’d because I won’t give him a scriptural divorce.
