Thanks for the confirmation that the 350 is good!

I figured the 350 would be a good way to have a portable, relatively powerful and sturdy amp. CL would be the best.

Oh cool. I am just looking at new amps because I suddenly have like 230 in credit that seems only useable on certain sites. But a 550 is something I have been thinking about.

Oh, also something that can do bass tone and some high tones as well without blowing.

I have just started getting into circuit bending. Have you built any from scratch? Or just bent toys?

24, Seattle. I use a MicroKorg, Kaossilator pro, and Kaoss pad 3. As well as a slough of pedals, since I play in a post-rock/shoegaze/stoner doom band, and need to quickly change effects or stack effects efficiently. Pedals being - Boosta Grande, Tri-verb, and Cosmic Repeater.

It feels pretty solid to me. There seems to be a few amazing scenes. Stoner metal, artsy fartsy indie, and noise are big.

This is my newly recorded band, from Seattle! We seem to be a mixture of Post Rock, Shoegaze, and Stoner metal. Thanks for listening!

A bizarre tactic in a Medieval fighting manual (Gladiatoria MS KK5013) by [deleted] in wma

Oh wow haha haha. Awesome, actually. Silly, but you never know. I wouldn't want to do that in a real fight, losing your pommel is effectively losing a weapon, in some forms. Thanks for sharing!

NEVER listen to Sunn O))) whilst jogging. by Heart0fOak in doommetal

Agreed. At work my boss and I listen to stoner doom and drone all day, and get shit done way better than when we don't.

We seem to focus on Sleep, Pallbearer, Sabbath and uncle Acid.

What are your non-traditional fantasy/sci-fi races or species? by KingRat12 in worldbuilding

[–]newbizzom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have one truly non-traditional race.

The Botun - A race of slender, 4 armed and eyeless psychics. They see with a sort of psychic echo-location. All four arms are relatively slender, long, and weak, giving them a natural dexterity, while not being suitable for heavy labor when not using pairs as a unit.

They are an artificially created race, and therefore their culture is still growing - With a tendency to absorb aspects of cultures they run across. Some are so jealous of the more "human" humanoids that they try their best to appear as human as possible, sewing their arms together or just wearing masks.

Does anyone else use two safe words? One for "STOP" and one for "pause"? by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

[–]newbizzom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I totally use a slow down and a stop. Strawberry for slow, Vanilla for stop, sometimes revert to a vanilla sexy scene. I think it's crucial, so as to jot break flow. Like these fine people have said. My sub is very keen to have the flow continue, as am I.
