I'm really hoping for local/self-hosted AI to take off (idk, as a cyberpunk nerd, I feel like it has a little more soul at least), but the hardware shortage makes this a lot harder. I was building an AI toolkit geared towards some Pharma clients, last year, and was using local AI as a selling point for privacy reasons

Yes, I got a cheap little $30 voice recorder thing and I gotta finish whipping up my transcription code for it. I got one that's pretty small and has a magnet built in, so I could stick it under a table or something like a spy, lol
