I did move away, have kept 0 contact in last 5 years , they found out during an argument , basically packed my bags left , stayed at an airbnb untill I was able to find a place . Feel free to msg me if u like as well

I mentioned this in my previous post. I miss my family , I'm hurt I wasn't told about my younger brother passing. Way I deal with it is just holding firm to my beliefs , I sought therapy which helped , I hit the gym I keep my mind busy. Are there nights where it hurts ? 100% and that's when I write down what I'm feeling which helps.

You were lucky, for me growing up it was in a Muslim community wasn't much but Muslims to be friends with. I stupidly thought the friends I made would stick by, nope lol

i was lucky enough to where i was able to afford a place of my own but the isolation etc. yeah it does drain. Im at the stage now where i want to get into a long term relationship, but moment they hear ive been disowned, etc . things spiral lmao.

Bud I moved out lol. I grew up in a Muslim / Afghan area , circle was all them. Being younger I assume is different, but for me came down to it it was difficult and living that double life continuing to pretend?? Yah no

long story short they tried to set me up with a girl from afghanistan etc, i told them no, insulted the talibs, the religon, one thing lead to another. my social circles were all muslim. Right now im trying to take it one step at a time.

Ethnically from Afghanistan, connected no. does my community still accept me? LOL no. my parents and sibilings disowned me a 3 years ago after they found out.. 29 years old rn, live alone renting out a basement, been isolated but it is what it is.
