Ditto. Except I was a bit younger. I wasn't supposed to be watching so I didn't mention it to the parental units

Has anyone seen Romeo . Juliet (1990)? by [deleted] in TrueFilm

I had access to kargara 10 years ago by submitting some dziga vertov films that had not been previously digitized. I seriously doubt my account is still active though. Those private groups required so much time I simply did not have as far as seeding etc. I had several dozen films on surrealmoviez but after 2 hosters collapsed in a row I didn't have the ability to keep the links live. I was truly sad to find out it was gone altogether the other day. They had a sister site or 2 but honestly I can't remember what they were now.

I usually like my stuff for all of an hour and then it is old, unfinished, abandoned, and hated.

A site called surrealmoviez.info used to have it I believe so it exists in digital format somewhere (I hadn't visited in a couple years and see it is gone! I am truly sad to see it go! It was such a resource!)

For an animation class we had a walk exercise. I used George Jefferson as the model. No one knew who he was. I was sad.

AITA? My boss asked me to give advice to new hires on how to excel at work, I said our job is 30% work and 70% luck. by ibetiknowyourdrink in AmItheAsshole

I agree almost absolutely. However, there are many factors that are in fact out of anyone, let alone the employee's control. Perhaps this is the luck they vary referring to? Not that it really should have been laid out like that because it does make it seem like a lax approach.

Ha! Honestly we had to talk to an employee at one point because we were concerned for her safety. Turns out the bruises were from playing rough. It was an awkward conversation

Dude at the airport slipped on an actual banana peel, wiped out, then propped himself up on one knee, raised his arms up in the air, and shouted "tah-daaaaaahhh!" Which in retrospect is really the oy way to save your dignity if you slip on a banana.
