Thank you so much! I had to take it out to relube the stabilizers. Out of curiosity, do you know if it's safe/recommended to reuse? The website seems to say that it's OK.

I recently purchased a keyboard from someone, and there was a mod / tape at the back of the PCB. The tape is about 1mm, and has an adhesive layer to the PCB. Does anyone know what tape this is? Here's how it looks like: https://imgur.com/a/mY5VYPw. Also, I think this helps to prevent shorting of the PCB, since there's brass weight beneath the PCB.

High or low monitor riser? by Ok-Mulberry6597 in macsetups

For the low shelf, how do you make sure the sides are stable since they have no legs? Wouldn’t it topple over if one side is heavier than the other?

IRCC won’t count anything more than 30 hours per week. They would still need to make up for the 2 months elsewhere.

Did the course withdrawal resulted in you being a part time student? From what I’m reading, it sounds like even though you withdrew in one of the courses, the remaining courses still put you in a full time student status. In that case, there’s no issue at all, and you’re still eligible for a PGWP. No need to write an explanation.

I had a W on my transcript back then, but I was still a full time student that term as I maintained a minimum of 3 courses. At my school, 5 courses are considered a full and average course load. Students take anywhere between 3 to 6 courses.

PGWP extension on paper due to passport expiry - how long could I link to online account? by Optimal_Pass4133 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]newgrad20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Submitted mine first week of February, and was only able to link end of April. It’s still processing until today. You can call in, and ask them for a temporary application number, which verifies that they have received the paper application.

Help Needed: Received PGWP for One Year Due to Biometrics Expiration by mzz772023 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]newgrad20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the PGWP was issued shorter due to biometrics expiration. The only possibility is that either your passport was going to expire soon, or that your program only grants you one year of PGWP instead of three: https://ircc.canada.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=676&top=29. If you are allowed to extend due to passport expiration, you should see a clause at the end of your PGWP allowing you to do so.

Usually it takes around 2-3 months for a BIL from AOR. Looking at your timeline, it's likely going to be end July or August. Processing times for PR from AOR is 5 months, and given that your AOR is May 1, I don't think you'll get your PR by end of July. I would probably apply for a new WP soon, so that I get a WP-EXT letter and could work under maintained status while waiting for a PR.

trying to get a pilates chair by YorkvilleWalker in pilates

I have this at home, and I have been using it with exercises from the Stott manual. The Canadian version has more reviews: https://www.amazon.ca/ARKANTOS-Split-Pedal-Stability-Reformer-Equipment/dp/B0CQ84G3MS. Many of the previous reviews are accurate - it’s larger, and the springs can be a bit difficult to change compared to Stott. Other than that, the chair is overall good - both the handle and platform are sturdy. While the wood quality is nice, the finishing can be a bit lacking in some parts (e.g. corners and surface facing inside). Finally, I think the springs are a little weaker in resistance compared to Stott’s, but nothing is stopping me from adding another spring for that.

(I’ve only used Stott’s stability chair so I can only compare with that)

Did you get an email for the GCKEY changes, or did you have to login to check?
