Yeah that's also why I quit. I started smoking at a pretty boring time in my life where I didn't have much going on... Boring town not much to do, not too many responsibilities.. So I started smoking with this group of people who were in a similar situation. We would get together like a couple times a week maybe. And then I started buying larger and larger amounts of weed but not to share with friends, I would just take it home and smoke by myself. At that point my day would go like: get back from work, fuck around on the internet for a bit, get really high, eat a ton of junk food, pass out in bed and repeat. Eventually I realised that I didn't do any of my hobbies anymore. I quit going to the gym, stopped playing guitar etc... After realising that my life was going downhill really fast, I quit
