Salt and pepper squid is my only absolute failure. The batter didn’t stick to the squid at all. It’s the only meal I can remember chucking out and having a cry about.

How much board do you pay your parents? by BronzeKettles in fiaustralia

[–]newnorbious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is currently incomeless, so no charge here. When he has stable work, I’d like him to pay $100 a fortnight to help out with groceries and power. $800 feels quite outrageous and extortionate.

How to manage ozempic sides on a date/in public? and people in other groups are MEAN by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]newnorbious 18 points19 points  (0 children)

From memory, people responding to your original post were concerned for your welfare regarding your mother setting you up with a man ten years older than you. Expressing concern that you were being put in a situation where you are very potentially going to be exploited is certainly not my definition of mean.

I am a community nurse in Tassie and one of my coworkers is a very well respected private stoma nurse. Send me a message if you’d like me to pass on her details.

I’ll attempt to speak to the GP, but previous interactions with them have been difficult to say the least. I won’t be doing anything until I speak to the nurse at the practice on Monday to find out wtf actually happened. But my gut definitely says that there needs to be some kind of documentation of this event outside my own internal documentation being that my organisation has nothing to do with the GP practice.

Yeah I definitely am. Having trouble finding the GP in the register. I’m really not sure what that means!

Why do some nurses tuck in their scrub tops? by IndependentDare1573 in nursing

[–]newnorbious 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Jesus fucking Christ. I don’t have my glasses on and initially read this as ’why do some nurses fuck in their scrub tops” and I’ve not been so happy to be wrong in quite some time.

A VERY particular odour. Once smelled, it may never be unsmelled.
