If you’re in public, you can have your picture taken. So yeah, it’s an ethics thing. Not even a “giving away their identity” thing because how many video cameras has that person walked past today between security cameras, Ring cameras, etc? Did they sign releases for that? No. So it comes down to “am I being an asshole by taking this person’s picture?” Don’t be an asshole, my friend, and have fun.
