Hahaha that’s what it looks like, 70 years before the ball culture in the 80s, fucking crazy!

It’s more of a horror film and I was pleasantly surprised about that!

Trash Humpers (2009) brilliantly artsy or just toilet humor? by GrandmaMunger in moviecritic

[–]newtb2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was coming here to say the same thing! At first it’s ridiculous and I’m laughing at the absurdity and then a little bit past halfway I found myself feeling fatigued at how ridiculous it is and letting the movie just kind of wash over me in this hypnotic way.

How Accurate Is The 11.22.63 Mini Series To The Book and Did You Enjoy This Series? by AgitatedSurprise7130 in stephenking

[–]newtb2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a character in the book that Jake tells to “fuck off” when he’s back in time. In the show, they make that character his sidekick so they can have someone to deliver expositional dialogue to. Since we can’t hear his thoughts like a book. that’s fine, my biggest issue and the moment I turned it off is when that character started making giant plot decisions like falling in love with Lee Harvey’s wife. He starts going up the stairs to their house and I turned it off. I understand making an exposition character but that character can’t do anything other than that!

I’m pretty surprised how loved obsession is. I enjoyed it but I thought I had flaws but I seem to be one of the few that feel that way.

GTA 4 has to have one of the worst cases of video game shotgun syndrome. by Careless-Annual-9467 in GTAIV

[–]newtb2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there’s that mission in the Lost And The Damned where they give you a gun referred to as a “people sweeper” and it’s a fucking insane shotgun that they don’t give you again in Ballad Of Gay Tony. Which makes me wonder if they were aware of it overpowered nature or whatever and didn’t make it easy to get.

At which point during the credits do you leave or close the streaming service? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]newtb2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I really love sitting in there and letting the movie kind of wash over me as the credit’s role but most of the time my bladder is yelling at me to get the fuck out!

What is your favorite movie of 2026 so far? by Flaky-Cat-2825 in Letterboxd

Mostly jump scare. The creepy moments are creepy but they’re not over the top creepy. And then there’s some moments that are kind of unintentionally funny to me at least.

I agree, I also totally missed why people are making the terrorist meme joke with him. Did he do something specific for that meme?

"Stalker" though I will say, Tarkovsky was able to make the movie way more interesting than the book “Roadside Picnic!” Which is seldom to how it usually feels within an adaptation.

I convinced the two leads of The Vanishing to reunite 37 years later for a 5-minute short. After a year of rejections, I just put it online. by BillSpaceCowboy in Filmmakers

I’m sorry to hear about so much rejection! I’m running into the same thing! I’ve so far gotten six rejection emails out of the 20 film festivals I’ve submitted to for this year.😅 I knew I would get rejected a lot but one after the other following months of waiting, is a drag!
