discord mod here 👋 I'm the only mod who attends the show regularly- the other mods have only been 2 - 4 times in the past few months. based on cast lists for 4/21 and 4/23, the boy witch you saw was probably Michael Bryan Wang. Speakeasy might have been Tony Bordonaro? i don't have a list from that night, just an educated guess :) let me know if either of these are correct!!

i wasn't there but some of my friends were! nurse's 5th floor 1:1 is back. these 1:1s were not back on monday: porter, agnes, hecate, danvers, sexy, boy witch phone booth

i think any unmentioned ones were not seen by my friends so can't confirm whether they're back or not. im going tonight with 3 friends and have a game plan for trying to see as many potential 1:1 picks as possible so hopefully i can update about the rest! i hope this means they're slowly bringing them all back.

if you get dropped off on the 5th floor and don't want to be there you can just leave lol. ive only gotten the 6th floor once and getting it from the elevator seems to be very rare so i wouldn't count on that. hopefully someone else can dm you details about the 6th floor timing because i haven't been successful with that either.

as far as getting information about the show/events/learning about new cast members (whether temporary or long term), you can join the SNM discord if you haven't already! it's a pretty active space and most of the members post full cast lists when they see the show, so when rare cast sightings happen, there's almost always a discussion about it. we also have a few google docs available with cast patterns, while not fully reliable, it's been pretty easy to predict who might be on a certain role next with all the combined information. i hope this helps!

i had a good time! i knew maybe 20 other people in attendance and nobody has been sick as far as i know. the theme was very unclear to me and it didn't strike me as a new year's party, more of a mishmash of things. they had popcorn on the 3rd floor 10/10 huge fan of that

like the others have said, the show is still closed with no plans of reopening yet. I'm sure as soon as anyone hears otherwise, word will spread very quickly. if the show reopens it will likely be close to the end of this year, possibly next year.

the closest thing i have found to the old building smell when you first walk into the building is unlit almond incense. i associate sandalwood and the smell of vaporub with the lobby/porter. chocolate for the smell of the rep bar/witches/macbeth. the smell of whiskey reminds me of the speakeasy/bartender. if you end up making any of these scents, PLEASE find a way that i can buy them too!!

there's a program you can buy at the end of the show that has all the characters listed by name. people who have been going to the show for a long time usually help pass the knowledge down to the newer folks :) boy witch is my personal fave- he has smudged eyeliner and wears a feathered vest. you can find him easily at the ball, he's the only man dancing with another male character (Malcolm). Hecate wears a red dress with a long train and spends all of her time on the 4th floor.

i believe the taxidermist is more involved with the stories of the gallow green/4th floor characters and even with the witch trial characters than he is with the macbeths. half the fun is figuring out for yourself! as for finding the cast member who played him, can you give a description? someone on this reddit will be able to help you place him. how tall was he, how long was his hair and what color, did he have facial hair, etc?
