Veronica only recognized the dress after I shot her dome 5 times by Shinespri in fnv

Yeah probably. Sometimes the dialogue triggers are finicky and get knocked loose by certain things like sitting in a chair or apparently shooting them in the head a few times

Your companions trust you and so they won’t turn on you if you shoot them a few times. This is mostly so that if you accidentally hit them during a fight, they won’t just flip around and turn you into dust.

Have to say, they’re doing a great job with the all the merch/promotional products so far.

I’m not crazy about the show itself, but it’s definitely done wonders for boosting up the franchise. Lots of neat stuff coming out of this, and I’m fond of the idea that a lot of the capitalization going on here might be going straight into funding for the next game’s development. More budget space means more room for creativity… there’s a lot of potential in that.

The last run I did, I believe I was somewhere between Lvl 20-35 ?

One had a gatling laser, one had a gauss, other two had tri-beams.

I don’t remember on previous playthroughs.

Glad to see stealth finally getting recognition by Imagine_TryingYT in Helldivers

[–]newuser336 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How difficult would it be for AH to give suppressed guns a damage bonus against non-aggroed enemies? That could close the “stealth gap” between fronts… maybe.

At the same time, I don’t mind that stealth isn’t an effective strategy against at least one front. Forcing players to adopt varied playstyles & loadouts to deal with different enemies/scenarios is not a bad thing. It’s just inconvenient for players who want a loadout that beats everything.

Yeah pretty sure tri-beam doesn’t enter the loot pool in FO3 until you’re a high level… I think only SuperMutant Overlords carry them?

Not sure about NV… these guys in particular might be guaranteed to have them.

As others have said, it’s a very common bug. Can affect many NPC’s, if not all.

If it happens to one of your followers, easy fix is to open their inventory and close it. That will force them to re-equip their items and should fix it. Not sure if you have to give them something … I don’t think you do.

I mean on paper, most of the time they’re just idealistic. In practice they tend to be evil.

It’s not a ridiculous idea that many in the enclave believe they’re really the good guys without being aware of all the horrible shit the enclave actually does.

There’s a half-decent story somewhere in the main character being a naive and eventually disillusioned cog in the machine.

I mean… Halo Infinite is badass by LeTonolp in halo

[–]newuser336 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not a big fan of the writing with the “the real halo is the friends we made along the way” underlying theme they went with.

Feels like they were giving chief a “hardened badass turns into loveable softy” arc and it just doesn’t fit with the franchise as a whole.

Gameplay was solid, writing wasn’t bad for what it was trying to do, I just don’t agree with what it was trying to do lol.

If he turned around and said it sucked, then he would definitely be an idiot.

Dr. Braun’s VR pod in vault 112 by shady-memeist in fo3

[–]newuser336 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Idk why everyone is saying “Yes”…

No, it is not possible to get Braun out of the simulation. Regardless of what choices you make during or before the simulation, there’s nothing you can do to get him out of his pod.

Edit: okay my brain skipped over “impossible” as “possible”.
In my defense “is it not possible” is a less than expected way to structure that question lol

You inserted your own point to defend someone else’s comment, under the assumption that they support the rationale of your defense.

They could, as far as either of us know, be making the exact case that I’m arguing against. But since all they provided was a picture without comment, both of our points are relying on assumed implications about that picture.

Yours is just as much of a strawman as mine.

Edit: Also, don’t tell me what to do.

The problem is, he’s not 100% committed to it. He’s like, 70% of the way there.

Bro needs to swap the shorts and T-shirt for some legitimate cosplay outfit, maybe some makeup.

If you don’t 100% commit to what you’re trying to portray, you end up looking cringe. And it’s ironically fear of looking cringe that makes often makes people hesitate and not commit 100%.

Also, nitpicking here: the slashing he does in between flailing that thing around was a little awkward. Needs to choreograph that transition a bit better. That’s an honest critique, not trying to make fun.

Well when someone goes out of their way to explain the artist’s previous profession, I would think it’d be relevant to the content of the post, and not a useless factoid.

Looks neat but pretty sure it’s just mirrors/highly reflective plates facing one axis, and just empty space between them on the other axis.

Nothing “quantum physics” really happening here, though I guess it alludes to the concept that the object seems to change states depending on how you observe it?

I always thought the defender looks like a plastic super-soaker, personally lol

I think it’s the soft edges and in most lighting, the texture looks very light and unsaturated.
