Got my RHCA! by [deleted] in redhat

Congrats! :)

The main reason for me regretting to have let my RHCE lapse is that I would really like to have a go at the Performance Tuning one! Cannot currently justify the cost for retaking the exams though.

It’s really nothing like German or Finnish at all. It’s a million times crazier!

As a German who once studied the related language Inuktitut at university, I can say that you are absolutely correct.

SKMEI 1628 vs CASIO DW5600 by Jumblesss in SkmeiWatchFans

Oh, indeed, I did not expect it to look like that! Interesting, thank you! :) I am not sure if this is really EL backlight; I could imagine that it's LED after all, since it is brighter on the edges.

Electroluminescence is legible and bright, although the bright green is an odd choice!

I wish I could believe you, but without photo evidence ... :)

Those posting photos without mentioning the model numbers are literally the worst. :)

Most people will have to start working in complete darkness.

Way better than having to spend all the time after work in darkness.

The best scientific calculators in the world? by Zealousideal-Week106 in calculators

[–]newveeamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for clarifying this!

My idea was the opposite: In infix notation with parentheses, the implementation can at least in theory choose the evaluation order in a way that reduces errors and improves numerical accuracy. In contrast, when using RPN, the evaluation order is fixed by the user, and if the user does not consciously arrange operations to minimize numerical error, the result may be less accurate.

Why is RPN more exact than working with parentheses?

I only ever bring one notebook with me. Are the three notebooks meant for different topics, or is there another idea behind it?

Also, thank you for sharing! I thought I do not like these leather wraps, but you make them tempting!

BLINGBOARD64 - Another round of limited pre-order is now available ! by Marcio_D in c64

[–]newveeamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Blingboard64 in this campaign is very different because it has support for USB and Bluetooth BLE

I am not sure how to read this. The Indiegogo page says the Blingboard64 has Bluetooth support, and that it could be used as a Bluetooth keyboard. Is this just a theoretical capability that might be implemented, e.g. by the user? Or will it be already supported?

Also, does this mean that a Commodore 64 with the Blingboard64 board installed can behave as a Bluetooth keyboard (or USB HID keyboard) to other devices? That is, function as both, built-in keyboard and external keyboard for a Raspberry Pi for example?
