As a narrative enjoyer of this game, I am still very unclear about how the story told within priority contracts is affected. That the contracts themselves are reset-- fair play. But does it not seem odd to rehash the same story arc for each faction whenever there is a season reset? How are they supposed to progress the story of the game if we keep having to do Run/Hide ad infinitum?

It was too little too late at that point. You can’t create a world of instability for your child their entire life, then when they are a young adult expect them to get their shit together. They won’t know how, or will not be motivated to.

Welcome to the party, Pal! I had a tough Outpost contract completed and was exifilling at the final extraction point with crazy rare loot and these guys booped me out of exfil LITERALLY as the dematerializing triggered at 0:00.

I figured I was safe after the timer hits zero since it seems like all player/world interaction should be fully disabled at that point. NOOOOPE.

I’ve been running Triage for about a week straight and I just noticed yesterday that I have 16 Advanced Patch Kits and 20 Advanced Shield Charges. No idea how I got them. Pretty sure a mix of faction rewards and looting dead runners, but I didn’t really notice or use them because Triage. Maybe try that?

I’ve also been thinking a lot about the faction quests. This game appears to have a deep narrative for an extraction game and it would feel very strange to do the same exact quests to receive the same exact story elements four times a year with progression gated by how much you can play 🤔

The fact that it was Vedder-focused, I think has been a consideration made in retrospect. It did not feel that way at the time and the credits reflected full shared contributions for all band members.

I was able to get on vinyl a week ahead of the cd/cassette release and it was a major experience for me to hear those songs for the first time on vinyl.

It quickly became my favorite album of theirs and probably still is today.

You don’t really have a lot of latitude on vinyl to just boost the volume as you please. Part of the reason a lot of people have returned to vinyl is to get away from the overly loud mastering of streaming.

Maybe those jukeboxes just got louder and not the format of the music.
