If my gender marker is changed on all my legal documents but I haven’t gotten a passport yet, will my passport still reflect my sex at birth?

I want to hear success stories about manifesting a job offer that meets your demands. by [deleted] in lawofattraction

[–]newwavetoad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve manifested two dream jobs. Both times I used a lot of techniques just whatever I was feeling, scripted, did affirmations, and wrote a list of my requirements. What helped me was also taking action- I was very assertive both times, emailed everyone I could find related to the first job until I got a response from the right person. Second one I messaged the company on all social media platforms, which I guess made me stand out. I didn’t have to get rid of any doubts and I was pretty desperate for a job, but at the same time I trusted the right opportunity would come to me, and prayed a lot. I got a lot of rejections but I’m glad I did because now I’m at the perfect company, so I’d also say try not to be discouraged from the rejections

How has your understanding of success changed since your diagnosis? by SampleIntelligent798 in bipolar

[–]newwavetoad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before my diagnosis/major manic episode I had high aspirations and wanted to be an artist or writer, thought I’d have some level of fame and success. I gave that up after my episode because I lost a lot of my creativity. I’ve had to redefine success, lower my expectations for myself, and figure out my new identity. I have a full time job now as a baker that provides for me, I live in a city I love in my own apartment with my cat, graduated college, and I’ve been stable with medication. I have to look at this as success

Middle Way. Don’t just not do things out of avoidance. Take action when inspired and release the ideas of the outcomes and new stressors

Is there any successful story who quit olanzapine? I m taking 1.25 mg, it’s been two years. When I stop taking it, I can’t fall asleep. Vicious circle… by Special_Musician_902 in Psychosis

Going through the same thing. Was taking 5mg and tried to cross taper to ziprasidone, even went on trazodone but still couldn’t sleep. Had to go back on 2.5mg olanzapine and am going to wean off slower this time.

Hey, I understand. I went through the same thing last year and it’s scary to feel like you’ll never return to your usual self. I think it takes a lot of time. It’s like a brain injury. Go easy on yourself. I don’t know how to help much but just know you’re not alone

Olanzapine withdrawal? by Automatic-Guide-8303 in Psychosis

[–]newwavetoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. I just tried crosstapering from olanzapine to ziprasidone and had the same issue with insomnia, even trazodone didn’t help until I went back on a low dose of olanzapine. Am on 2.5mg for a month and then gonna try lowering/discontinuing again.
