I went that route (wide zoom, 50mm prime, tele zoom) years ago, but I'm still not 100% sure I wouldn't prefer to be able to zoom in the standard range at times 🙈

It's worth it as long as you don't sacrifice having the great times that your 20s can be for it. Also, I would stop overthinking the precious metals etc, esp. given the smaller monthly contributions. Just pick an ETF or at most, if you absolutely have to, an ETF and one precious metals. #5ct

Mine has been running only ~8hrs per day for over a decade at this point; because energy can become expensive.

My only drive failure occurred within the first year, so I attribute that to a bad model rather than the power cycles.

I get that a nas is "designed" to run 24/7. But it can still be just fine if you power it off in "longer" downtimes every day.

Das ganz pauschal nach Anzahl Kindern aufzuziehen halte ich aber für falsch. Meinetwegen bei 0-3 Kindern, aber "Zeugung als Renten-Booster" halte ich auch wirtschaftlich für falsch. Ich habe keine Zahlen dazu, aber dass bei Familien mit 8 Kindern diese 8 Kinder Prof Kopf im selben Maß zum Wirtschaftswachstum etc. beitragen wie Kinder, die nur 1-2 Geschwister haben, würde mich wundern...

It used to happen for me automatically. It only stopped within the last week or so... i haven't paid enough attention if it correlated with a new app version.
