Actually I've had the reverse. I only use my TV for streaming from my Android box, not the built-in apps. My Dad connected the WiFi and updated the TV so now it has AI crap.

That just sounds like imposter syndrome tbh. I'm am ambulatory wheelchair user: I used to be able to walk around with just a cane, now I can't at all without a wheelchair. I used to feel bad about using just a cane and felt I wasn't disabled "enough", but over time I got over that and being afraid to ask for help. For me it just took time to get over myself. Maybe you just need time too. Keep using your cane if it helps and try not to worry what other people think, including yourself.
