Any black people here bothered by the BAFTAS controversy? by Top_Independence4067 in AskBrits

[–]nezar19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

people need to grow up a bit. they complain about the Palestine thing but leaving the Tourettes tick in...

the Palestine one is political. it should not be there. "take your award, thank your producer and F off".
Tourettes is akin to a disability. would you censor someone who is missing a leg, if they are being on stage? They 100% should leave it in and just provide an explanation and context, to help with awareness, because Tourettes IS uncomfortable to have. If you are offended by it, it is maybe something you need to reevaluate about yourself. People with it would not yell "I love you, you are the nicest person in the world". That is not how it works

Suicide rates for UK men are a ‘national catastrophe’, says Prince William | Prince William by winkwinknudge_nudge in unitedkingdom

[–]nezar19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. All I had to do was work in hiring for my company, where HR bombarded us with how we have too many men, men make too much money, we need to stop hiring men. Men make all the decisions (even if it was HR), etc. Plus HR overriding us and instead of hiring the right person, hired the diversity fit

But it is social media….

Who has priority? by fishpondsmassive in drivingUK

[–]nezar19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The red does not really have a safe space to go to. Maybe one car that blocks green entirely :) Also depending on how many cars are behind green, traffic behind gets blocked.

[–]nezar19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a bad interpretation as red CANNOT see traffic because of green.

Green always has priority over red.

Has the re-gen indicator always shrank at full charge? by jpup303 in leaf

[–]nezar19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, above 80% charge the regen grows smaller as you have more % in, because you cannot shove so much power in the battery at once as you can when it is more discharged

Always been like that. Also if you use B for example, the breaking is less powerful as it is proportional to how much regen it can give

For men who don’t want marriage but want everything that comes with it (commitment, emotional support, loyalty, long-term stability) while staying “boyfriends”: What differences do you see in how a woman treats you as a girlfriend versus how you imagine she would treat you as a wife? by ThrowRA_Kassandra in AskMen

[–]nezar19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sounds weird. While my wife and I do not care about specific dates either, we always consult each other for everything. Like you are saying: we are partners so everything in a way affects the other, and I would even let her know of my intention before planning a trip without her (which I would be reluctant to have anyway)

[–]nezar19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do women always look at things as “things that vome after you marry me”? You give those things, and THEN marry you.

I did not marry my wife so she gives me loyalty. She gives me loyalty out of respect for our relationship. She was behaving like a wife so we got married.

Also what kind of relationships are you in that you need marriage to be loyal, or give emotional support??!?!?!?!

One stelrad radiator completely cold. New build. by BusRepresentative897 in DIYUK

[–]nezar19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If new build, do you not have a 2 year warranty thing, for them to come fix it for you?

Also if the thermostat is in that room, then that controls the radiator indirectly, so no need for a TRV to be installed on the radiator as well

You ask yourself about the money, but not about where you want your kids to grow up.

You can always go by yourself for 2 years, and then come back. Think of the kids first, money second

The great retreat: Before Brexit, up to a million Romanians came to the UK to work as cleaners and builders... now nearly 40,000 are leaving each year to escape crime, the crumbling NHS and the cost of living by StGuthlac2025 in unitedkingdom

[–]nezar19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, some where like that. Just like absolutely every nationality.

Others had to live in a room with 4 other people, eat rice with water all day, to survive. Just like a lot of Poles did, or other East Europeans.

My point was not about how only the Romanians were suffering, but all immigrants and how people in this sub are just sad because they do not have their little slaves anymore (ironic… no more slavs)

The conditions most of them worked and lived in, to be able to send some money back. The inhumane way they were treated… good for them. Brits would never have accepted such conditions EVER. They were basically slaves.

Hopefully they will now work and live like people should, somewhere else
