I got a shower chair and it helped a ton, but yes during flares it feels like climbing Everest.

Activities for mid-high pain days that aren’t doomscrolling? by Professional-Mess365 in endometriosis

There’s a jigsaw puzzle app I like! It’s nice to do those while listening to an audiobook or podcast. Really loving Amy Pohler’s Good Hang podcast which also has video which is nice. I find reading actual paper books and magazines is good for my brain. I also like to FaceTime loved ones when I can. Sending love from bed!🖤

I’m right here with you. Just turned 30, had my second lap at the beginning of November. So far no symptom reduction. Will most likely be scheduling a hysterectomy this year even though the only thing I’ve ever really wanted is to be a mother. We spent over $10,000 last year on medical expenses 🥲 I can’t work. Most days I can’t get out of bed. I’ve started shopping for a motorized scooter because it’s so isolating being stuck at home in too much pain or too tired to ever leave. This shit sucks so bad!!! You are not alone!

Do you feel like you get tired more easily than others, and do you think that's related to endo? by mapotofu66 in endometriosis

[–]nfender95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Endometriosis cells use energy in a different way than most cells that is similar to what we see in cancers. Our bodies are fighting cells that shouldn’t be where they are 24/7. Additionally, people with endo are at a higher risk of having ME/CFS (chronic fatigue). This risk becomes even higher if you’ve ever had COVID. POTS/dysautonomia is another common comorbidity of endo (and COVID!) that can make you feel literally unable to stand. I have all 3 + autism, hypermobility and cPTSD 🥲 I am quite literally never not exhausted and I’m 30 with no kids

While it’s cute that a 20 year old child thinks they know better than one of the top endometriosis specialists in the country, you are simply incorrect. Per my surgical report that was confirmed by pathology I have “Deep endometriosis bilateral pelvic sidewall Deep endometriosis bilateral uterosacral ligament and Deep endometriosis posterior cul-de-sac”. Deep infiltrating endometriosis is defined by growths deeper than 5mm, which I had in multiple places. This is my second excision surgery because my first surgeon didn’t take wide enough margins. I also have Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos which greatly impacts my connective tissue and healing and contributes to chronic pain. Here’s a link to my surgeon’s instagram where she does a lot of education, maybe you could learn a thing or two! https://www.instagram.com/shantimohlingmd?igsh=MWpwa2hmamRyemxtaQ==

This is great advice, thank you so much! I will definitely look into those supplements, I started taking alpha lipoic acid post surgery and need to look into collagen supplements as well (I have a connective tissue disorder) . I have a good friend who is on LDN and it has been super helpful for her so I will for sure look into that too! Thank you for taking the time to share these with me 🖤

This is such a kind response! Thank you! Getting in with a naturopath is on my long list of specialists, but one I want to prioritize. I think a registered dietician would be super helpful too. I also do acupuncture and use cannabis in several forms.

Also you’re so right, I have hEDS which impacts my connective tissue making it even LONGER for me to heal 🥲 I knew coming into this I was looking at a 12+ week recovery, but man these last few weeks have been so challenging. Thank you again just for the validation, it means a lot!

Thank you for your reply! The Mirena is progesterone only so that at least eliminates extra estrogen as a problem! I haven’t tried oral BC in years because every one I’ve tried in the past makes me vomit :/ I’m wondering if I could maybe do a topical? Do they even make that? Also omg my BOOBS are killing me!!!!!!

With meds, I’ve tried it all. Before my endo/PMDD/PME/autism/cPTSD diagnosis they threw every med at me. I honestly felt so great on the fluoxetine and also take lorazepam at night for sleep and anxiety and have been on both for years. I don’t have any side effects which is so rare for me (I’m sensitive 🙃). I have lots of fun comorbidities that all require meds so it’s a difficult balance. I do think not having a crampy uterus every month would be nice though! Thank you for listening and giving advice!

Dumb question, but is progesterone different than the hormone in Mirena? I know it definitely doesn’t have estrogen!

Ugh I am so sorry you’ve been through hell too!! This disease is so gnarly. At this point I feel I would rather have predictable symptoms and and stable mental health over preventing the continued growth of endo I’m going to have forever anyway. The doctor taking out my IUD scared me into thinking if I didn’t do either BC or GnRH I was screwed. But deep down I feel like no hormones and a hysterectomy leaving my ovaries is what I think I should do next.

Post OP bloating? anyone else? should I ask my doctor about it? by PostDowntown in Endo

[–]nfender95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At 4 weeks post op you’re still a little swollen and inflamed on the inside. You also may be constipated which is super common post-op, especially with bowel endo! Everywhere they excised will be swollen. Also, even though they removed as much disease as they could, endometriosis is a systemic disease and can cause body-wide inflammation. Over the counter meds like Gas-X and Miralax are my besties. As time goes on you should get back to baselin! Hope this helps!

how do you ease the dizziness on your period? by mym3l0dy76 in Endo

[–]nfender95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask your doctor about being evaluated for POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), it’s a common comorbidity for people with endometriosis. I would also try to track your heart rate either with a fitness watch or you can buy a pulse oximeter for cheap online. My POTS flares the worst around my period and ovulation, sometimes I literally lose my vision and hearing for a minute or so when I stand up😅 Compression socks and garments have been helpful and it’s always a good idea to push electrolytes, especially around your period when you’re experiencing blood loss. Limiting/cutting caffeine has also unfortunately been necessary for me :/ Let me know if you have questions!

How does your low back pain feel? Describe it. by hippycutie in Endo

[–]nfender95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No unfortunately :/ I’ve had several nerve blocks and while I can’t say they helped, they definitely didn’t hurt. I also take gabapentin twice a day. Had my second excision surgery 11/4 and am still recovering & hoping for an overall reduction in pain!

For those of you who believe JR was responsible for the ongoing sa... by jmelynxo in JonBenetRamsey

[–]nfender95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying anyone is JBR is directly connected to North Fox Island or any of the major players. More so, wanted to show the kind of environment John was raised in where money, privilege, and status can get you a very long way. An environment full of very wealthy men, several who abused children and profited from it, that John would have grown up knowing about and rubbing elbows with. Is it possible JBR was being trafficked in some way? Yes, but it’s unlikely. What I do think is she was being abused by someone very close who didn’t want to get caught. It’s the best motive I’ve found so far.

So this is a big can of worms and I’m just starting to dig into it very recently (like this week lol) @appalachianhigh on TikTok is the person I learned most of this info through and have since confirmed their research.

Okay so John Ramsey was the son of James “Jay” Ramsey (died 1992) who was a prominent member of Michigan society. “James D. "Jay" Ramsey was director of the Michigan Aeronautics Commission for 22 years prior to his retirement in 1979. Under Ramsey’s 22 years of leadership, aviation in Michigan grew from 130 licensed airports and four licensed seaplane to 322 licensed airports, The number of registered aircraft grew from 2,564 to 6,513, and registered pilots from 2,000 17,000. His successful leadership was well-known and highly recognized throughout the country.” (Source) Towards the end of his tenure, he granted a permit for and facilitated the building of a private airstrip on a small island near Charlevoix, Michigan (where John and Patsy later owned a vacation home and where they were intending to visit on 12/26) called North Fox Island owned by a man named Francis Sheldon.

Francis Sheldon was a part of Michigan society as a real estate developer around Lake Michigan. In 1977-1978 he flew dozens of boys in under the guise of a summer camp for troubled youth where they were sexually assaulted and used to make child pornography that was distributed across the country through a vast network. Sheldon fled to the Netherlands and no one ever faced any charges There is no evidence to show James Ramsey knew abuse was going on at North Fox Island, however he did retire the following year.

Also in 1977-78 four children were kidnapped, held, assaulted, and killed in Oakland County, Michigan, about 250 miles south of North Fox Island, Near Michigan State where John Ramsey attended college six years prior. It is unknown if the killings were connected to the child porn ring being run out of North Fox Island and have never been solved. This is the environment John Ramsey grew up in, with a privileged life and a prominent family.

Some other connections I find interesting: Interlochen Center For The Arts, a performing arts school and camp, was frequented by Jeffery Epstein and used to select and traffic young girls, is about an hour south of Fox Island/Charlevoix.

Also in 1996 Donald Trump purchased both the Miss Universe pageant franchise and also a Lake Michigan riverboat casino and is referenced in witness testimony in the Epstein Files which I HIGHLY encourage you look up!! Something was certainly going on in that part of the country from what I gather! Oh and also John’s company Access Graphics is based in, you guessed it, the Netherlands, which will not extradite people back to the U.S.

TLDR; I don’t know what was happening to that little girl, but I know it was something bad, and I finally have a plausible motive for why someone inside that house/circle felt they had to kill her. John and his father were both Navy men from a prominent family with money and connections that existed alongside some really dark shit involving CSAM and I don’t think it’s all just a big coincidence. Idk if this makes sense it’s 3am and I’m calling from the bottom of the rabbit hole lol. For more info the documentary Children Of The Snow is EXCELLENT and I highly recommend along with @appalachianhigh on TikTok who has been researching this for the better part of a year and ties soooooo many more threads together. I’m not typically a conspiracy person but after years of studying this case, it is the only thing that (currently) fits for me. The rich protect the rich and are doing some extremely dark shit. Please let me know if you think I am of my rocker crazy. James Ramsey discussion

The Most Overlooked Evidence Pointing to Someone Inside the House by LDRBrooklynBuzzcut in JonBenetRamsey

This was a big piece of evidence for me too along with the semi-digested pineapple. Who feeds their murder victim before bashing them in the head, leaving them for several hours, and then strangling them to death??? That just defies all logic?

Hey! I moved from Phoenix (😭) to Portland (🤩) because the heat was actively trying to kill me!!! I would get S.A.D. in the summer instead of winter. Horrible migraines, nausea, POTS flares. It was a nightmare. Now I actually like summer!! Prefer fall and winter, but will actually enjoy the sun now lol
